What are school problems?
The difficulties in any aspect of life are frequently translated into school problems. Between 1 and 5% of adolescents develop
fear of going to school. This fear can be widespread or related to a particular person (a teacher or other student, see bullying
(school bully).
What kinds of school problems are there?
● Rebellion and need for independence (the most frequent)
● Mental disorders, such as anxiety. Learn more and depression.
● Substance abuse.
● Family problems.
● Learning disorders.
● Behavior disorders.
Main causes of school problems.
● Learning difficulties: We are talking about problems such as: dyslexia (reading and spelling process), dyslalia
(speech and word articulation), dysgraphia (writing) and dyscalculia (mathematical skills).
● School phobia or fear of going to school: It is common that, behind this label, other types of problems are
hidden, such as Separation Anxiety Disorder to the maternal and paternal figures, which later seems to
become more noticeable due to the consequences that it entails. In regards to school.
● Poor performance at school or school failure: It is important to note that the fact of suffering one of the above is
not directly linked to this end. It will depend on your early and timely reception and approach that your child
can lead a completely normalized life and adapted to these circumstances.
● Behavior problems:
● Among its causes we can find both emotional affectations, such as a deficit in their learning history or
inappropriate forms and models of obtaining needs.
Solutions for the problems.
