2. This Project involved construction of 1,000 mm and 1,500 mm thick diaphragm wall (~620 m wall length)
in blocks A, B & C and 258 nos of 800 mm to 1,200 mm diameter foundation bored pile (at Block C only)
with cut off level 17.0 m below ground level.
Diaphragm walls at Block A&B were designed as temporary and permanent retaining wall as well as load
bearing wall for a six basements deep structure. Excavation depth of diaphragm wall panels varied from 30m
to 56m depth. High rock head level was encountered above the lowest basement level, rock socketing were
up to 22m deep.
