Title: Biogas Production and its Performance and Emission Characteristics on a Diesel
Engine in Dual Fuel Mode.
Location: SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, India.
Time Frame: December 2016 - May 2017.
Produced Biogas from Biomass using Anaerobic Digestion Process.
Cleaned the produced gas from impurities such as Carbon dioxide, Hydrogen
Sulfide and Moisture.
Compressed and stored the cleaned biogas in a cylinder.
Using the biogas from the cylinder as a supplement to conventional diesel, the
engine was operated and the results were monitored using an exhaust gas
analyzer.
