and wrong teachings

Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Amos 8:11-12 teach that people will be thirsty for the true word of God
but they will not find it anywhere
Jeremiah warned of the scribes who change the word of God
Jeremiah 8:8-13 “‘how can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of
the Lord,”
when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?
Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do
they have?
Jeremiah 6:13 warns the priests who are greedy for gain and who
practice deceit
Jeremiah 5:30-31 A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the
land:
The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and
my people love it this way
Jeremiah 23:16 warns of the false teachers who fill people with false
hopes
They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of
the Lord
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Jeremiah 23:21 and 14:14 warn of the false teachers who claim that
they receive God’s revelations
I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied
God had not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them, but
they prophesied a false vision and the deceit of their heart
Ezekiel 13:6 also warns of the religion distortion
They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and
the Lord hath not sent them
Psalms 62:4 - warns those who take delight in lies
Psalms 78:36-37 also warn of the religion distortion
But then they would flatter him with their mouths, lying to him with
their tongues; their hearts were not loyal to him, they were not
faithful to his covenant
Jude 16 - False teachers often walk according to their lusts, speaking
smooth words, flattering people to gain advantage
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Isaiah 30:9-11 warn those require interesting or attractive teachings instead
of the harsh Prophet's teachings
That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the
law of God: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy
not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get
you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to
cease from before us
Jeremiah 23:32
Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord.
“They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did
not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,”
declares the Lord
Jeremiah 23:36
But you must not mention ‘a message from the Lord’ again, because each
one’s word becomes their own message. So you distort the words of the
living God
Jeremiah 29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent
them, saith the Lord
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
How did the Jewish scribes distort the teachings of Judaism?
Moses warned of the expected turning from the way he has commanded them
Deuteronomy 31:27-29
For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious
against the Lord while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel
after I die!
and
For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to
turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall on
you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what
your hands have made.”
Jews are not the unconditionally chosen people of God; that is wrong according
to the teachings of Moses like Exodus 19:5, Leviticus 18:4-5, Leviticus 26,
Deuteronomy 11:18-20, 11:26-28 , Deuteronomy 28, Deuteronomy 30:15-16 ,
and Deuteronomy 30:19, Deuteronomy 32:46-47
Those are the most reiterated and consistent teachings of Torah which teach that
the choice of God and the blessings are conditional ‘blessings for obedience and
curses for disobedience’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Moses did not teach that the Jews are the only chosen people; the
correct definition of the chosen people of God as taught by Moses is an
open invitation to each person to be a chosen son of God by obedience,
by maintaining justice, by applying one measure or one law for Jews and
Non-Jews, for taking care of the orphans, the widows, and the strangers
Jewish scholars do not teach the original teachings anymore; they teach
the distorted teachings of Deuteronomy 9:5-6 and Deuteronomy 7:6 in
order to claim that God has chosen them regardless of the condition of
obedience
Those claims were not taught by Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, or by
the Prophets; those prophets have warned of the wrong teachings
Psalms 4:3 teaches that people are considered as the chosen people of
God because of their obedience, not because of the righteousness of
their fathers
God is not biased, Deuteronomy 10:17 teaches that God does not favor
as it is written Who shows no partiality
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
God favors the obedient son; the measure set by God is: if you obey
and do good deeds to help others then you will be blessed, if you do
not obey and do not do good deeds to help others then you will be
cursed
If you are a Jew; you will find out that the most frequent teachings of
the Old Testimony are: blessings for obedience and Curses for
disobedience
Deuteronomy 11:26-28 teach See, I am setting before you today a
blessing and a curse - the blessing if you obey the commands of God
that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of
God and turn from the way that I command you today
In Deuteronomy 32:46-47 he said to them Take to heart all the words
I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command
your children to obey carefully all the words of this law - They are not
just idle words for you—they are your life
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Deuteronomy 28:2-6 teach all these blessings will come on you and
accompany you if you obey God: You will be blessed in the city and
blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and
the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of
your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your
kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come
in and blessed when you go out
In Deuteronomy 30:15-16 Moses taught: See, I set before you today
life and prosperity, death and destruction. - For I command you today
to love God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands,
decrees and laws; then you will live and increase
Deuteronomy 30:19 teaches this day I call the heavens and the earth
as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death,
blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children
may live
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
In Deuteronomy 10:12-13, Moses said: what does God ask of you
but to fear God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve God
with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the
LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your
own good?
The same consistent teachings are also confirmed in Deuteronomy
7:12-16, Deuteronomy 11:13-15, Deuteronomy 15:5-6 and
Leviticus 26
Deuteronomy 29:9 also urges people to follow the law in order to
succeed
Therefore, keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you
may prosper in all that you do
Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore you shall love the LORD your God,
and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his
commandments, always
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The true teachings are ‘Do not have two differing measures’, ‘The
same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner’,
‘The foreigner must be treated as your native-born’, ‘You are to
have the same law for the foreigner and the native-born’
Examples of the true teachings are in Deuteronomy 25:13-16, Ex
12:49, Leviticus 19:33-37, Leviticus 24:22, Numbers 15:15-16,
Deuteronomy 24:14-15,
Deuteronomy 25:13-15
Do not have two differing weights in your bag—one heavy, one
light. Do not have two differing measures in your house—one
large, one small. You must have accurate and honest weights and
measures
Exodus 12:49 the same law applies both to the native-born and to
the foreigner residing among you.”
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Leviticus 19:33-37 when a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not
mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-
born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt
Leviticus 24:22 you are to have the same law for the foreigner and the native-
born
Numbers 15:15-16 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the
foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to
come.
You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord:
The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner
residing among you
The distorted teachings: the changed teachings include some additions to restrict
justice to the ‘fellow Israelite’, ‘my people among you’, or ‘Hebrew men or
women’
Examples of the additions of ‘fellow Israelite’, ‘my people among you’, ‘Hebrew
men or women are in Deuteronomy 23:19-20, Exodus 22:25, Leviticus 25:35-46,
Deuteronomy 15:1-2, 15:7, 15:12
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Deuteronomy 23:19-20
Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food
or anything else that may earn interest. You may charge a foreigner
interest, but not a fellow Israelite
Exodus 22:25 If you lend money to one of my people among you
who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest
In verse Exodus 22:25, the words "my people" are added to limit the
justice to the Israelites only
Deuteronomy 15:1-2 At the end of every seven years you must cancel
debts. This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan
they have made to a fellow Israelite
In verse Deuteronomy 15:1-2, the words "fellow Israelite" are added
to limit the justice to the Israelites only
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Deuteronomy 15:12 If any of your people—Hebrew men or women—sell
themselves to you and serve you six years, in the seventh year you must
let them go free
In Deuteronomy 15:12, In verse Deuteronomy 15:1-2, the words " your
people—Hebrew men or women" are added to limit the justice to the
Israelites only
Other examples of the religion distortion are to add what they like and
teach it as the word of God; Jewish scribes liked to be served by widows,
so they made it through the word of God as in 1 Kings 17:8-24, 2 KINGS
4:8-37, 1 Samuel 25
1 Kings 17:8-24 explain religion to the benefits of the priests. The verses
teach that the widow should serve ‘the man of God’ before feeding her
child; if she does, she will be blessed and her child will be saved
2 KINGS 4:8-37 is also another explanation of religion to the benefits of
the priests; the verses teach that the wealthy women should serve the
priests; if they do, their families will be blessed and their children will be
restored to life
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Chapter 1 Samuel 25 explains religion to the benefits of the priests? It
teaches that wives of the wealthy men should generously donate to the
‘holy people of God’, and the wealthy husband should be cursed to death
if he rejects to share his wealth? It also teaches that the wise wife should
accept to be a wife to the ‘holey person of God’ after her husband is
cursed to death
Jesus has warned the priests of such bad teachings and of spending
much time in the houses of widows. In Matthew 23:14 he said:
"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour
widows' houses, and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you
will receive greater condemnation
In Mark 12:40 and Luke 20:47 he said "They devour widows’ houses and
for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most
severely.”
In Luke 11:52 he said “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees,
you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s
faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are
trying to”
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Judges 19 is not the inspired word of God, but cursing other tribes in
the name of God
Descendants of levities wanted the bible to be an eternal witness on
the corruption of Benjamin. They wanted to curse the tribe of
Benjamin so that the curse will be verses of the Holy Scripture
forever. Anyone who reads Judges 19 should recognize that the story
is made up to suit the purpose of the bad levities’ scribes
2 Kings 2:23-24 are additions to the benefits of the religion teachers;
the message is that anyone who makes fun of the ‘holy people of
God’ will be punished to death by God
2 Kings 13:21 is an addition to glorify Elisha
Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a
band of raiders; so they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb.
When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and
stood up on his feet
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Genesis 32:24-30 is also an addition by Jacob’s descendants to
glorify Jacob and claim that he wrestled with God and was saved
The verses teach that Jacob was able to wrestle with God; he said
to God
"I will not let you go unless you bless me”
Although the true teachings of Deuteronomy 10:17 teach that
God does not favour ‘who shows no partiality’
The descendants of Jacob wanted to glorify him in the name of
God; they added the distorted teaching of Genesis 25:23
“Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you
will be separated;
one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will
serve the younger.”
“Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated” is also added in Malachi 1:2-3
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
They wanted to say that it is the will of God to choose them regardless of
any condition like good work and true faith. That distorted teaching is
against the true teachings of Moses that God chooses the righteous who
obey and curse the wicked as the core and the most reiterated teachings
of the old testimony
The same mistake is also committed by the Christian scholars who teach
the wrong doctrine of unconditional election and by the Muslim scholars
who teach that some Muslims are predestined to heaven before they are
born and before they have any chance to do good or bad deeds
Another example of the religion distortion is Genesis 9:25-27
he said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his
brothers.” He also said, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem!
May Canaan be the slave of Shem. May God extend Japheth’s territory;
may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of
Japheth.”
That is not the word of the God but added by the descendants of Japheth
and Shem to curse the tribes of Canaan in the name of God. They
practiced their evil habits in the name of God
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
This cannot be the inspired word of God because God does
not curse the son Canaan for a mistake of the father Ham.
Whenever the competing tribes try to curse each other; they
add verses to show that the curse is by God. The true word
of God teaches that the sons are not to be punished for the
mistakes of fathers as written in the true verse of
Deuteronomy 24:16
"Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor
children put to death for their parents; each will die for their
own sin"
Another example of the distorted religion teachings is
written in Genesis 19:30-38 to curse the tribes of Moabites
and Ammonites in the name of God
May Canaan be the slave of Shem. May God extend Japheth’s territory;
may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of
Japheth.”
That is not the word of the God but added by the descendants of Japheth
and Shem to curse the tribes of Canaan in the name of God. They
practiced their evil habits in the name of God
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
How did the Christians distort the teachings of Christianity?
As Moses warned against the expected corruption and turning from the way he
has commanded in Deuteronomy 31:27- 29, Jesus also warned against those who
claim to have prophesied and performed miracles in his name in Matthew 7:21-
23, and Luke 13:25-27
Some examples of the distorted teachings are the attractive teachings like 1
Corinthians 15:51, Romans 8:30, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans
3:28, Galatians 2:16, Colossians 2:14, Ephesians 2: 8-10
1 Corinthians 15:51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all
die, but we will all be transformed!
Romans 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also
justified; those he justified, he also glorified.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 - For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain
salvation
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is
not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Romans 3:28
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the
law
Galatians 2:16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but
through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to
be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of
the law no one will be justified
Colossians 2:14 He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it
away by nailing it to the cross
Those attractive promises are not consistent with the main teachings taught by
Moses, Jesus, Prophets, and the Disciples
The promises of the received salvation by faith cannot be validated because the
test is not over and the result is not yet published. Those are only promises for
salvation which cannot be proved; like the promises of 1 Corinthians 15:51 ‘you
will not die but will be transformed during the rapture’, the people who received
those promises two thousand years ago are now dead; the promises which were
accepted as facts before are proved to be wrong. Since some promises have been
proved to be wrong, some other similar promises like ‘you have been saved’, ‘you
received salvation’ are not expected to be true because similar attractive
promises have not been fulfilled
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
People should not believe in salvation by faith alone when the only
occurrence of ‘faith alone’ in the Bible (James 2:24) says that salvation is
not by faith alone. That verse by James confirms the core Prophet's
teachings
Jesus did not teach that salvation is granted to those who merely accept
him without actually doing the good works of the law as taught in
Matthew 7:21-27 and in Luke 13:25-27
Salvation is not based solely on belief and nothing else; but by the good
works which prove the good faith as taught by Jesus in Matthew 25:35-
45
‘when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you
were refusing to help me’ Matthew 25:45
Jesus taught that the people who would be saved must be as little
children - those who lived their lives in innocence; he did not teach that
the children are born sinners (Matthew 18:4-5; 19:14; Mark 9:36-37;
10:14-15; Luke 18:15-17)
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Jesus have confirmed the law commandments mentioned in
Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18, and in other Torah verses
Matthew 5:18-19:
"For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one dot shall in no
wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall
break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he
shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall
do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of
heaven
Since heaven and earth have not passed away, people should continue to
obey and teach the law
The true teachings by Jesus and the prophets are conditional, if you obey
and do good works, you will be saved
Instead of the true ‘conditional’ teachings, many unconditional teachings
and promises have been offered in order to make people feel happy by
the promises of free and unconditional salvation in order to reap the
financial gifts in return of the salvation promises
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Jesus did not teach that all people have sinful nature.
Teachings of the original sin and sin inheritance are not taught by
the prophets, but taught by Paul who was not educated by Jesus
and who failed to teach any of the wise teachings of Jesus
People are not born sinners. We are being tempted and God has
empowered us to resist temptations.
That is how God is testing us in that short life on earth.
All prophets taught that forgiveness is by obedience and
repentance.
Jesus also taught that forgiveness is by obedience and repentance.
Jesus did not teach the doctrine of the Original Sin
Jesus did not teach the sin inheritance
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
In Mark 10:13-16, Matthew 18:3 and Luke 18:16-17 Jesus taught that the
children are not born sinners
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the
kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who
will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it”
James. 4:17 clarifies that it is up to people to be sinners or righteous
If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is
sin for them
Since that rule is not applicable to the new born babies, then they cannot
be born sinners
James 1:14-15 teach that no one is born a sinner, but the person
becomes a sinner because he chooses to disobey and to do wrong
but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own
evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to
sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death
James 2:8 teaches that it is up to people to obey
If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, love your neighbor as
yourself, you are doing right
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
1 John 3:4 teaches that sin is transgression, not transmission.
Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness
Sin is not something inherited. "Everyone who practices sin also practices
lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness." (1 John 3:4). Sin is not something we
are born with; it is something we do. When we break God's law, we sin.
Deuteronomy 24:16 and 2 Kings 14:6 teach that the children are not
responsible for the mistakes of the fathers
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children; neither shall the
children be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death
for his own sin
Jeremiah 31:30 teach that each person will be punished for the sins he
has done; sins are not inherited
Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes—
their own teeth will be set on edge
Ezekiel 18:20 teaches:
The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of
the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the
righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of
the wicked shall be upon him
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Ezekiel 33:8 and 33:20 teach that the wicked person will die for his
own sin
That is also the common sense according to the gifts of minds and
conscience; that is what wise judges do everywhere and every day.
Fair judges do not punish the sons for the mistakes of the fathers,
they do not punish the innocent for the mistakes of the guilty
In Exodus 32:33, When Moses tried to take the sins of the people
onto himself, God denied him:
The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will
blot out of my book
Jesus taught that everyone will be judged according to his deeds
Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his
angels, and then he will reward each person according to what
they have done.
According to the consistent Prophet’s teachings, not all people are
sinners; there are also those who obey and who are righteous
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Psalm 1 Clarifies that there are Righteous and there are Wicked; it does not
teach that all people are born sinners
Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in
the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and
night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its
season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers
Psalm 11:4-6 teach that God observes the righteous and the wicked (not all
people are sinners)
The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne.
He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.
The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence,
he hates with a passion
Psalm 128 teach that there are righteous who will be blessed for their
obedience
Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him.
You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours
Proverbs 9:12 teaches that every person has the choice to be good or bad;
people are not born sinners
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you
alone will suffer
Proverbs 11:5-6 teach that there are righteous who obey and there are
wicked who choose to follow evil desires
‘The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the
wicked are brought down by their own wickedness’.
‘The righteousness of the upright delivers them,
but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires’.
Isaiah 3:10-11 confirms the consistent teachings of the Prophets, the
verses teach that there are righteous who will be rewarded the fruit of
their deeds and there are wicked who will be punished for what their
hands have done
‘Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of
their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them!
They will be paid back for what their hands have done’.
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
All prophets taught that we can earn salvation by obedience, repentance,
and good deeds to help others.
Jesus also taught that we can earn salvation by obedience, repentance,
and good deeds to help others.
No sacrifice is necessary for salvation.
No bloodshed is necessary for salvation.
No savior should die for the salvation of others; everyone is responsible
for his own salvation.
Jesus has confirmed the same in Matthew 18:21-35, 6:14-15, Mark
11:25-26, and Luke 6:36-37
The only exceptions are the teachings of Paul who was not educated by
Jesus and who taught the distorted teachings of original sin, atonement,
and salvation by grace without obedience to God’s law.
Jesus did not teach that a man is justified according to God’s plan or by
faith without the deeds of the law; In Matthew 16:27 and John 5:29,
Jesus has confirmed that God will reward each person according to his
deeds; those are the basic teachings of the old testimony like the verses
taught in Psalm 62:12, Ecclesiastes 12:14, and many other old testimony
verses
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The teachings of Atonement were taught by Paul in Ephesians 1:7, Colossians
1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Romans 4:25, Galatians 1:4, 1 Corinthians 5:7,
Ephesians 5:2, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:13-14
But Paul failed to teach the wise teachings of Jesus
When the scribes wanted to support the doctrine of Atonement they have
added verses like Matthew 18:11 For the Son of Man has come to save that
which was lost
The bible footnotes explain that verse Matthew 18:11 was not in the original
old scriptures
Hebrews 9:22 “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” is a
misunderstanding of verse Leviticus 17:11 which is not about atonement but
is about dietary laws. God has clarified that blood in meat is not good for
health; that clarification was necessary to the people who do not have
advanced medical tools to know that eating the meat with the blood still in it
is bad for health
The true word of God is not what is written by the unknown writer of
Hebrews; it is what has been taught by Moses, Jesus and the Prophets who
taught the forgiveness is possible by obedience, repentance, and prayers
Proverbs 16:6 teaches that “In mercy and truth atonement is provided for
iniquity.”
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Psalm 69:30-31 teach that praise worship is better than sacrifice
2 Chronicles 7:14 teaches that forgiveness is obtainable without blood
sacrifice
‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray
and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin’
Jonah 3 teaches that people are forgiven when they repented and fasted,
without offering any sacrifice and without shedding any blood
Proverbs 17:15 states:
‘He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of
them alike are an abomination unto God’
That should be considered as a warning to the teachers who promise free
salvation to the sinners and who teach that the innocent has been punished
on behalf of the sinners
Jesus taught the parable of The Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32 to highlight the
importance of obedience and repentance as the main pre-requisites for
salvation
That is the core Christianity teaching as taught in Matthew 7:21 Not every
one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but
he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Jesus has confirmed the teachings of the Old Testimony ‘in repentance
and obedience is your salvation’ as taught in Isaiah 30:15
In Matthew 25:31-45 Jesus described the final judgment as being based
on good works; he clarified that those who obey the law will be saved
Salvation is not based solely on belief and nothing else; salvation is not
granted to those who merely profess acceptance of Jesus without
performing kind or compassionate deeds
Jesus did not teach that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of
the law; In Matthew 16:27 and John 5:29, Jesus has confirmed that God
will reward each person according to his deeds; those are the basic
teachings of the old testimony like the verses taught in Psalm 62:12,
Ecclesiastes 12:14, and many other old testimony verses
In Luke 13:3 and 13:5, Jesus taught that repentance is necessary for
salvation
But unless you repent, you too will all perish
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Mark 12:33 teaches: And to love one’s neighbor as himself, is much more
than all burnt offerings and sacrifices
What Jesus taught here is not different from the wisdom taught by the
old testimony Hosea 6:6
‘For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more
than burnt offerings’
That verse teaches us that forgiveness is possible by repentance and
obedience; no sacrifice is necessary
Matthew 9:13 teaches that Jesus came to call the sinner to repentance
‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, for I came not to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance’
The early Christians who followed the teachings of Jesus were true
Christians.
They did not worship Jesus as God because the concept of trinity was not
yet defined by the church fathers.
Jesus did not claim to be a God, he did not ask the disciples to worship
him as a God, he asked them to pray to the only true God (his God and
their God).
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
When the scribes wanted to support the doctrine of Trinity; they have added
verses like 1 John 5:7
“For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the
Holy Ghost: and these three are one”
The bible footnotes explain that verse 1 John 5:7 was not in the original old
scriptures.
Jesus referred to himself as “son of man”. Jesus was not all-knowledgeable and
he prayed to GOD, so this is enough to say that he wasn’t God nor did God come
down to earth to be Jesus.
Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God,
and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:3
Jesus said that he does not know everything; he said that only God knows
But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the
Son, but only the Father Mark 13:32
Jesus said that he is not equal to God
“I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just;
because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”
John 5:30
Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I.” John 14:28
“Jesus answered them, and said, my doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.”
John 7:16
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Jesus prayed to God as written in Mark 1:35, Luke 5:16, John 17:11, Matthew
26:39, Luke 10:21, Luke 22:44
“my Father and your Father; my God and your God” John 20:17
The disciples did not pray to Jesus, they prayed to the God and Father of Jesus
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ…” 1 Peter 1:3
Jesus introduced himself as a Prophet and people accepted him as a prophet, not
as a God in Matthew 13:57, John 9:17, Matthew 21:11, Luke 7:16, Luke 24:19,
John 6:14, Matthew 14:5, Matthew 21:46, John 7:40-41, and in Matthew 24:36
Jesus never said I am God; In the Old Testimony God says he is God several times,
but Jesus did not say so in the New Testimony
Isaiah 45:5 and 46:9 ‘no God beside me’, ‘none like me’
In John 17:6-8 and John 13:3 Jesus explained that God has given power and
authority, he did not own it
“I have manifested Your name to the men whom You gave Me out of the world;
they were Yours and You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. “Now
they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; for the
words which You gave Me I have given to them; and they received them and truly
understood that I came forth from You, and they believed that You sent Me
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which
sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say
John 14:24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my
teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to
the Father who sent me
In Matthew 19:16-17 and Luke 18:19 Jesus denied being good in
the sense that God is good.
‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’
Jesus is called a “Man” many times in the Bible of John 8:40, Acts
17:31
‘a man who has told you the truth’
The disciples have introduced Jesus as a “Man” in Acts 2:22 and
Acts 2:23
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
How did the Muslims distort the teachings of Islam?
Many Muslim scholars teach that the Jews are cursed and the Christians
have been misguided and that the Muslims are the truly guided people;
that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses; it is not the
correct explanation of verse 1:7 of Quran.
The correct explanation is asking God to guide us to the straightway; the
way of the blessed obedient not the way of those who disobey the
prophets.
Many Muslim scholars want to say that God does not like the Jews and
the Christians; but the true and fair explanation is that God does not like
the Jews who disobey the teachings of Moses, and does not like the
Christians who disobey the teachings of Jesus and also does not like the
Muslims who disobey the teachings of Islam
The prophet of Islam has warned of the bad Muslim scholars who order
others to do good but they do not do good and who forbid others from
evil while they do evil
That hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari 7098 - Book 92, Hadith 49
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The prophet of Islam warned those who abandon the true teachings of Islam and
who justify fighting and killings; he warned of that in many Hadiths like Bukhari
7070 - Book 92, Hadith 21 and 7077 - Book 92, Hadith 28 and 121 - Book 3,
Hadith 63
In another Hadith, he described the bad Muslim scholars who justify killing as
‘worst people under the sky’. That is recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith
276
Although the true Islamic teachings like Verse 5:32 of Quran forbid killing and
teach that whoever kills a soul it is as if he had slain mankind entirely, many bad
Muslim scholars abandon the true teachings and justify the killings. Verse 25:30
of Quran warns of those who abandon the teachings of Islam
Many Muslim scholars teach that Prophet’s intercession will save the Muslims
who do not do good deeds; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran
verses
Many Muslim scholars teach that God has predestined some people to heaven
even before they are born and regardless of any good or bad deeds they do; that
is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The true teachings of the Quran verses like 7:96,17:15,30:44-45,34:25-26,
41:46,43:72,45:15,45:20-31 and 46:13 prove that those scholars are mistaken
Many Muslim scholars teach that God has predestined the sins to be committed
by each person; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses
Many Muslim scholars like to explain some verses to blame the Jews and the
Christians; some examples are Quran verses 6:20 and 2:146
Many Muslim scholars like to explain those verses as those who have been given
the Torah and the Bible deny the Prophet of Islam although they know him as
they know their children
Those Muslim scholars who like the above explanation ignore the following true
explanation:
Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their
[own] sons
The pronoun in the verses should refer to the scripture; not to the Prophet
because that is the correct use of the pronoun as shown in other verses like
2:121
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Many Muslim scholars want to claim that the Prophet of Islam knows the
unknown and whatever he said must be the true word of God; the truth is what
is said by the Prophet himself and what was written in Quran verses 6:50, 7:188,
9:43, 17:85 and the Hadith in Bukhari 2680 and in Muslim 5830.
Those Muslim scholars must know the verses and the Hadiths. The Prophet
mentioned that he does not know the unknown and sometimes he accepted the
recommendations of other people and changed what he planned to do according
to the advices of others
Many Muslim scholars refer to verses 23:52 and 21:92 as related to the nation of
Islam and they urge Muslims to be united as one nation, but the context before
the verses is related to the nation of all prophets as one nation; the verses 23:23-
51 are related to prophets like Noah, Moses and Jesus and verse 23:52 is
addressed to those prophets ‘your religion, is one religion’
Chapter 21 is related to the prophets and the title of that chapter is ‘the
prophets’ as verses 21:48-91 are related to the prophets like Moses, Abraham,
Lot, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Solomon, Job and Jesus; verse 21:92 is the
message to those prophets ‘your religion, is one religion’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The same message is confirmed in Quran 42:13 which is a call to
establish the same one religion which has been revealed to the prophets
and not to be divided. That call does not advise Muslims to establish the
religion of Islam and ignore what have been revealed to the prophets,
the call teaches that the religion to be established is what has been
revealed to those prophets
That is also confirmed in Verse 2:136; God knows that some Muslims
claim to be the truly guided nation, that the religion of Islam is the best
religion and that the prophet of Islam is the best prophet. God does not
accept such exaggerations and prompts them about what they are
supposed to say
Say: "We believe in God and that which is revealed to us; and what was
revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants, and
that which was given to Moses, Jesus, and other Prophets from God. We
do not discriminate any of them, and to God we have surrendered
ourselves
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
That is also what the prophet of Islam taught in Hadith Bukhari 652 when he
mentioned that the Prophets are brothers, their religion is one religion
The true message to be explained is not to unite the Muslim as one
distinguished nation, but the verses teach that the followers of prophets
have divided their one religion (verse 21:93) and to teach that the followers
of the prophets who truly believe and do good deeds will be rewarded (verse
21:94)
Such verses prove the mistakes of the Muslims who claim that they are the
truly guided people and that Jews are cursed and Christians are misguided
The Muslim scholars who justify killing the hostages are mistaken; verse 8:70
proves that the hostage is not to be killed, because Muslims are supposed to
comfort the hostages and they cannot comfort them after killing them
‘say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If God knows [any] good in
your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from
you, and He will forgive you; and God is Forgiving and Merciful’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The Muslim scholars who justify killing the unbelievers are mistaken; verse
9:6 is enough proof that the unbelievers are not to be killed, because
Muslims are supposed to protect the unbelievers and they cannot protect
them after killing them
‘And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him
protection so that he may hear the words of God. Then deliver him to his
place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know’
The Muslims who are not righteous and fair toward others are not true
Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 60:8 which
teaches: ‘God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because
of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous
toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, God loves those who act
justly’
The Muslims who oppose peace with others are not true Muslims because
they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 8:61 and 4:90 which teach
‘If they resort to peace, so shall you’ and ‘if they leave you alone, refrain from
fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you no excuse to fight
them’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The Muslims who justify killing of innocent people are not true Muslims
because they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 17:33, 25:68 and 6:151
which teach ‘You shall not kill - God has made life sacred’
The Muslims who justify killing of disbelievers are not true Muslims because
they do not obey the Islamic teaching 2:256 which teaches that
‘There shall be no compulsion in religion’
The Muslims who justify killing of those who decide to leave Islam are not
true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teaching 18:29 which
teaches Freedom of Religion
‘then whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve’
People are free to choose their faith and only God can question them about
their choice
The Muslims who try to spread God's Message by unwise means are not true
Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teaching 16:125 which teach
‘You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind
enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The Muslim scholars who teach that the prophet of Islam is better than other
prophets and that he knows the unknown are mistaken; they have been asked
not to make any distinction between the prophets. They should follow Quran
verse 46:9 which teaches that prophet of Islam was not superior to other
messengers
Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will
be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am
not but a clear warner."46:9
The Muslim scholars who teach that Islam is the only true religion are mistaken;
they have been asked to believe in what has been revealed to Moses, Jesus and
other Prophets as taught in 3:84
The Muslim scholars who teach that the good deeds of the Jews and Christians
are not accepted are mistaken. Verses 3:113-115 teach that there are Jews and
Christians who follow Moses and Jesus and that those will be rewarded for their
obedience and for their good deeds
The Muslim scholars who teach that some Muslims will not be punished for their
sins are mistaken; the prophet urged all Muslims to obey; verse 4:123 teaches
‘Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it’
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The Muslim scholars who teach that God predestines some for
punishment and some for good rewards are mistaken; verse 4:147
teaches that there is no punishment for those who choose to obey and
to thank God
As Moses and Jesus warned of the false teachers who explain religion to
their benefits, the prophet of Islam has also warned of those who ignore
the true teachings and teach different teachings
“I will say those people are from me. It will be said, 'You do not know
what changes and new things they did after you.' Then I will say, 'Far
removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed
(the religion) after me!”
That is recorded in Bukhari 7051 Book 92, Hadith 4 and in Volume 9,
Book 88, Hadith 174
The prophet of Islam has warned of the bad Muslim scholars who order
others to do good, but they do not do good and who forbid others from
evil while they do evil
That hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari 7098 - Book 92, Hadith 49
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The prophet of Islam warned those who abandon the true
teachings of Islam and who justify fighting and killings; he
warned of that in many Hadiths like Bukhari 7070 - Book 92,
Hadith 21 and 7077 - Book 92, Hadith 28 and 121 - Book 3,
Hadith 63
In another Hadith, he described the bad Muslim scholars
who justify killing as ‘worst people under the sky’. That is
recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276
The best advice is to follow the common ground of the clear
teachings as taught by the prophets. The same message
revealed to the prophets by the same God must be
consistent, clear and easy for all people regardless of their
level of education or experience
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
Summary
The common ground of religion teachings includes:
In obedience and repentance is your salvation, if you obey and do
good deeds, you will be blessed, if you disobey you will be lost;
that is the clear message. That message is the most consistent
message by Moses, confirmed by Jesus and by Islamic teachings
Instead of the true religion teachings which should unite all people
under the same guidelines of obedience, repentance, forgiveness,
good deeds and compassion; we find the distorted teachings
which agitate hatred and the unnecessary endless wars and
sectarian conflicts.
We have the choice to be like the son who says that if the word of
God includes so much cruelty and so many contradictions, then I
do not need the word of such God
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
We also have the choice to be like the son who says we
cannot teach the harsh teachings like ‘pluck out your eye’ or
‘woe to you’ or ‘freely you have received; freely give’, we
should continue to teach attractive teachings because we
need an income to survive
The prophet of Islam warned those who abandon the true
teachings of Islam and who justify fighting and killings; he
warned of that in many Hadiths like Bukhari 7070 - Book 92,
Hadith 21 and 7077 - Book 92, Hadith 28 and 121 - Book 3,
Hadith 63
In another Hadith, he described the bad Muslim scholars
who justify killing as ‘worst people under the sky’. That is
recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276
Identification of the True and wrong teachings
The best advice is to follow the common ground of the clear
teachings as taught by the prophets. The same message revealed
to the prophets by the same God must be consistent, clear and
easy for all people regardless of their level of education or
experience
We also have choice to be like the son who says maybe the father
is testing us; maybe some of my brothers have changed the
message of the father to explain it to their benefits
We also have the choice to be like the son who says that he knows
the true words of the wise father as he knows his own children, he
will continue to identify the truth that hurts and he would happily
accept any persecution from the majority which hate the truth;
that is what the prophets did and that is what the prophets
ordered us to do.

Identification of the true and wrong teachings

  • 1. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Identification of the True and wrong teachings Sabry Shaheen
  • 2. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Amos 8:11-12 teach that people will be thirsty for the true word of God but they will not find it anywhere Jeremiah warned of the scribes who change the word of God Jeremiah 8:8-13 “‘how can you say, “We are wise, for we have the law of the Lord,” when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely? Since they have rejected the word of the Lord, what kind of wisdom do they have? Jeremiah 6:13 warns the priests who are greedy for gain and who practice deceit Jeremiah 5:30-31 A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way Jeremiah 23:16 warns of the false teachers who fill people with false hopes They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord
  • 3. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Jeremiah 23:21 and 14:14 warn of the false teachers who claim that they receive God’s revelations I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied God had not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them, but they prophesied a false vision and the deceit of their heart Ezekiel 13:6 also warns of the religion distortion They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them Psalms 62:4 - warns those who take delight in lies Psalms 78:36-37 also warn of the religion distortion But then they would flatter him with their mouths, lying to him with their tongues; their hearts were not loyal to him, they were not faithful to his covenant Jude 16 - False teachers often walk according to their lusts, speaking smooth words, flattering people to gain advantage
  • 4. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Isaiah 30:9-11 warn those require interesting or attractive teachings instead of the harsh Prophet's teachings That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of God: Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us Jeremiah 23:32 Indeed, I am against those who prophesy false dreams,” declares the Lord. “They tell them and lead my people astray with their reckless lies, yet I did not send or appoint them. They do not benefit these people in the least,” declares the Lord Jeremiah 23:36 But you must not mention ‘a message from the Lord’ again, because each one’s word becomes their own message. So you distort the words of the living God Jeremiah 29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, saith the Lord
  • 5. Identification of the True and wrong teachings How did the Jewish scribes distort the teachings of Judaism? Moses warned of the expected turning from the way he has commanded them Deuteronomy 31:27-29 For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the Lord while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! and For I know that after my death you are sure to become utterly corrupt and to turn from the way I have commanded you. In days to come, disaster will fall on you because you will do evil in the sight of the Lord and arouse his anger by what your hands have made.” Jews are not the unconditionally chosen people of God; that is wrong according to the teachings of Moses like Exodus 19:5, Leviticus 18:4-5, Leviticus 26, Deuteronomy 11:18-20, 11:26-28 , Deuteronomy 28, Deuteronomy 30:15-16 , and Deuteronomy 30:19, Deuteronomy 32:46-47 Those are the most reiterated and consistent teachings of Torah which teach that the choice of God and the blessings are conditional ‘blessings for obedience and curses for disobedience’
  • 6. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Moses did not teach that the Jews are the only chosen people; the correct definition of the chosen people of God as taught by Moses is an open invitation to each person to be a chosen son of God by obedience, by maintaining justice, by applying one measure or one law for Jews and Non-Jews, for taking care of the orphans, the widows, and the strangers Jewish scholars do not teach the original teachings anymore; they teach the distorted teachings of Deuteronomy 9:5-6 and Deuteronomy 7:6 in order to claim that God has chosen them regardless of the condition of obedience Those claims were not taught by Moses, David, Solomon, Isaiah, or by the Prophets; those prophets have warned of the wrong teachings Psalms 4:3 teaches that people are considered as the chosen people of God because of their obedience, not because of the righteousness of their fathers God is not biased, Deuteronomy 10:17 teaches that God does not favor as it is written Who shows no partiality
  • 7. Identification of the True and wrong teachings God favors the obedient son; the measure set by God is: if you obey and do good deeds to help others then you will be blessed, if you do not obey and do not do good deeds to help others then you will be cursed If you are a Jew; you will find out that the most frequent teachings of the Old Testimony are: blessings for obedience and Curses for disobedience Deuteronomy 11:26-28 teach See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse - the blessing if you obey the commands of God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of God and turn from the way that I command you today In Deuteronomy 32:46-47 he said to them Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law - They are not just idle words for you—they are your life
  • 8. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Deuteronomy 28:2-6 teach all these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey God: You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks. Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed. You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out In Deuteronomy 30:15-16 Moses taught: See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. - For I command you today to love God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase Deuteronomy 30:19 teaches this day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
  • 9. Identification of the True and wrong teachings In Deuteronomy 10:12-13, Moses said: what does God ask of you but to fear God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good? The same consistent teachings are also confirmed in Deuteronomy 7:12-16, Deuteronomy 11:13-15, Deuteronomy 15:5-6 and Leviticus 26 Deuteronomy 29:9 also urges people to follow the law in order to succeed Therefore, keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always
  • 10. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The true teachings are ‘Do not have two differing measures’, ‘The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner’, ‘The foreigner must be treated as your native-born’, ‘You are to have the same law for the foreigner and the native-born’ Examples of the true teachings are in Deuteronomy 25:13-16, Ex 12:49, Leviticus 19:33-37, Leviticus 24:22, Numbers 15:15-16, Deuteronomy 24:14-15, Deuteronomy 25:13-15 Do not have two differing weights in your bag—one heavy, one light. Do not have two differing measures in your house—one large, one small. You must have accurate and honest weights and measures Exodus 12:49 the same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.”
  • 11. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Leviticus 19:33-37 when a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native- born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt Leviticus 24:22 you are to have the same law for the foreigner and the native- born Numbers 15:15-16 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you The distorted teachings: the changed teachings include some additions to restrict justice to the ‘fellow Israelite’, ‘my people among you’, or ‘Hebrew men or women’ Examples of the additions of ‘fellow Israelite’, ‘my people among you’, ‘Hebrew men or women are in Deuteronomy 23:19-20, Exodus 22:25, Leviticus 25:35-46, Deuteronomy 15:1-2, 15:7, 15:12
  • 12. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Deuteronomy 23:19-20 Do not charge a fellow Israelite interest, whether on money or food or anything else that may earn interest. You may charge a foreigner interest, but not a fellow Israelite Exodus 22:25 If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not treat it like a business deal; charge no interest In verse Exodus 22:25, the words "my people" are added to limit the justice to the Israelites only Deuteronomy 15:1-2 At the end of every seven years you must cancel debts. This is how it is to be done: Every creditor shall cancel any loan they have made to a fellow Israelite In verse Deuteronomy 15:1-2, the words "fellow Israelite" are added to limit the justice to the Israelites only
  • 13. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Deuteronomy 15:12 If any of your people—Hebrew men or women—sell themselves to you and serve you six years, in the seventh year you must let them go free In Deuteronomy 15:12, In verse Deuteronomy 15:1-2, the words " your people—Hebrew men or women" are added to limit the justice to the Israelites only Other examples of the religion distortion are to add what they like and teach it as the word of God; Jewish scribes liked to be served by widows, so they made it through the word of God as in 1 Kings 17:8-24, 2 KINGS 4:8-37, 1 Samuel 25 1 Kings 17:8-24 explain religion to the benefits of the priests. The verses teach that the widow should serve ‘the man of God’ before feeding her child; if she does, she will be blessed and her child will be saved 2 KINGS 4:8-37 is also another explanation of religion to the benefits of the priests; the verses teach that the wealthy women should serve the priests; if they do, their families will be blessed and their children will be restored to life
  • 14. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Chapter 1 Samuel 25 explains religion to the benefits of the priests? It teaches that wives of the wealthy men should generously donate to the ‘holy people of God’, and the wealthy husband should be cursed to death if he rejects to share his wealth? It also teaches that the wise wife should accept to be a wife to the ‘holey person of God’ after her husband is cursed to death Jesus has warned the priests of such bad teachings and of spending much time in the houses of widows. In Matthew 23:14 he said: "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses, and for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you will receive greater condemnation In Mark 12:40 and Luke 20:47 he said "They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.” In Luke 11:52 he said “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to”
  • 15. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Judges 19 is not the inspired word of God, but cursing other tribes in the name of God Descendants of levities wanted the bible to be an eternal witness on the corruption of Benjamin. They wanted to curse the tribe of Benjamin so that the curse will be verses of the Holy Scripture forever. Anyone who reads Judges 19 should recognize that the story is made up to suit the purpose of the bad levities’ scribes 2 Kings 2:23-24 are additions to the benefits of the religion teachers; the message is that anyone who makes fun of the ‘holy people of God’ will be punished to death by God 2 Kings 13:21 is an addition to glorify Elisha Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man's body into Elisha's tomb. When the body touched Elisha's bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet
  • 16. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Genesis 32:24-30 is also an addition by Jacob’s descendants to glorify Jacob and claim that he wrestled with God and was saved The verses teach that Jacob was able to wrestle with God; he said to God "I will not let you go unless you bless me” Although the true teachings of Deuteronomy 10:17 teach that God does not favour ‘who shows no partiality’ The descendants of Jacob wanted to glorify him in the name of God; they added the distorted teaching of Genesis 25:23 “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.” “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated” is also added in Malachi 1:2-3
  • 17. Identification of the True and wrong teachings They wanted to say that it is the will of God to choose them regardless of any condition like good work and true faith. That distorted teaching is against the true teachings of Moses that God chooses the righteous who obey and curse the wicked as the core and the most reiterated teachings of the old testimony The same mistake is also committed by the Christian scholars who teach the wrong doctrine of unconditional election and by the Muslim scholars who teach that some Muslims are predestined to heaven before they are born and before they have any chance to do good or bad deeds Another example of the religion distortion is Genesis 9:25-27 he said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.” He also said, “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem. May God extend Japheth’s territory; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.” That is not the word of the God but added by the descendants of Japheth and Shem to curse the tribes of Canaan in the name of God. They practiced their evil habits in the name of God
  • 18. Identification of the True and wrong teachings This cannot be the inspired word of God because God does not curse the son Canaan for a mistake of the father Ham. Whenever the competing tribes try to curse each other; they add verses to show that the curse is by God. The true word of God teaches that the sons are not to be punished for the mistakes of fathers as written in the true verse of Deuteronomy 24:16 "Parents are not to be put to death for their children, nor children put to death for their parents; each will die for their own sin" Another example of the distorted religion teachings is written in Genesis 19:30-38 to curse the tribes of Moabites and Ammonites in the name of God

  • 20. Identification of the True and wrong teachings How did the Christians distort the teachings of Christianity? As Moses warned against the expected corruption and turning from the way he has commanded in Deuteronomy 31:27- 29, Jesus also warned against those who claim to have prophesied and performed miracles in his name in Matthew 7:21- 23, and Luke 13:25-27 Some examples of the distorted teachings are the attractive teachings like 1 Corinthians 15:51, Romans 8:30, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:28, Galatians 2:16, Colossians 2:14, Ephesians 2: 8-10 1 Corinthians 15:51 But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! Romans 8:30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 - For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast
  • 21. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Romans 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law Galatians 2:16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified Colossians 2:14 He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross Those attractive promises are not consistent with the main teachings taught by Moses, Jesus, Prophets, and the Disciples The promises of the received salvation by faith cannot be validated because the test is not over and the result is not yet published. Those are only promises for salvation which cannot be proved; like the promises of 1 Corinthians 15:51 ‘you will not die but will be transformed during the rapture’, the people who received those promises two thousand years ago are now dead; the promises which were accepted as facts before are proved to be wrong. Since some promises have been proved to be wrong, some other similar promises like ‘you have been saved’, ‘you received salvation’ are not expected to be true because similar attractive promises have not been fulfilled
  • 22. Identification of the True and wrong teachings People should not believe in salvation by faith alone when the only occurrence of ‘faith alone’ in the Bible (James 2:24) says that salvation is not by faith alone. That verse by James confirms the core Prophet's teachings Jesus did not teach that salvation is granted to those who merely accept him without actually doing the good works of the law as taught in Matthew 7:21-27 and in Luke 13:25-27 Salvation is not based solely on belief and nothing else; but by the good works which prove the good faith as taught by Jesus in Matthew 25:35- 45 ‘when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me’ Matthew 25:45 Jesus taught that the people who would be saved must be as little children - those who lived their lives in innocence; he did not teach that the children are born sinners (Matthew 18:4-5; 19:14; Mark 9:36-37; 10:14-15; Luke 18:15-17)
  • 23. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Jesus have confirmed the law commandments mentioned in Deuteronomy 6:5, Leviticus 19:18, and in other Torah verses Matthew 5:18-19: "For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one dot shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven Since heaven and earth have not passed away, people should continue to obey and teach the law The true teachings by Jesus and the prophets are conditional, if you obey and do good works, you will be saved Instead of the true ‘conditional’ teachings, many unconditional teachings and promises have been offered in order to make people feel happy by the promises of free and unconditional salvation in order to reap the financial gifts in return of the salvation promises
  • 24. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Jesus did not teach that all people have sinful nature. Teachings of the original sin and sin inheritance are not taught by the prophets, but taught by Paul who was not educated by Jesus and who failed to teach any of the wise teachings of Jesus People are not born sinners. We are being tempted and God has empowered us to resist temptations. That is how God is testing us in that short life on earth. All prophets taught that forgiveness is by obedience and repentance. Jesus also taught that forgiveness is by obedience and repentance. Jesus did not teach the doctrine of the Original Sin Jesus did not teach the sin inheritance
  • 25. Identification of the True and wrong teachings In Mark 10:13-16, Matthew 18:3 and Luke 18:16-17 Jesus taught that the children are not born sinners “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it” James. 4:17 clarifies that it is up to people to be sinners or righteous If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn't do it, it is sin for them Since that rule is not applicable to the new born babies, then they cannot be born sinners James 1:14-15 teach that no one is born a sinner, but the person becomes a sinner because he chooses to disobey and to do wrong but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death James 2:8 teaches that it is up to people to obey If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing right
  • 26. Identification of the True and wrong teachings 1 John 3:4 teaches that sin is transgression, not transmission. Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness Sin is not something inherited. "Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness." (1 John 3:4). Sin is not something we are born with; it is something we do. When we break God's law, we sin. Deuteronomy 24:16 and 2 Kings 14:6 teach that the children are not responsible for the mistakes of the fathers The fathers shall not be put to death for the children; neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers. Every man shall be put to death for his own sin Jeremiah 31:30 teach that each person will be punished for the sins he has done; sins are not inherited Instead, everyone will die for their own sin; whoever eats sour grapes— their own teeth will be set on edge Ezekiel 18:20 teaches: The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him
  • 27. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Ezekiel 33:8 and 33:20 teach that the wicked person will die for his own sin That is also the common sense according to the gifts of minds and conscience; that is what wise judges do everywhere and every day. Fair judges do not punish the sons for the mistakes of the fathers, they do not punish the innocent for the mistakes of the guilty In Exodus 32:33, When Moses tried to take the sins of the people onto himself, God denied him: The Lord replied to Moses, “Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book Jesus taught that everyone will be judged according to his deeds Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done. According to the consistent Prophet’s teachings, not all people are sinners; there are also those who obey and who are righteous
  • 28. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Psalm 1 Clarifies that there are Righteous and there are Wicked; it does not teach that all people are born sinners Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers Psalm 11:4-6 teach that God observes the righteous and the wicked (not all people are sinners) The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them. The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked, those who love violence, he hates with a passion Psalm 128 teach that there are righteous who will be blessed for their obedience Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours Proverbs 9:12 teaches that every person has the choice to be good or bad; people are not born sinners
  • 29. Identification of the True and wrong teachings If you are wise, your wisdom will reward you; if you are a mocker, you alone will suffer Proverbs 11:5-6 teach that there are righteous who obey and there are wicked who choose to follow evil desires ‘The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness’. ‘The righteousness of the upright delivers them, but the unfaithful are trapped by evil desires’. Isaiah 3:10-11 confirms the consistent teachings of the Prophets, the verses teach that there are righteous who will be rewarded the fruit of their deeds and there are wicked who will be punished for what their hands have done ‘Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done’.
  • 30. Identification of the True and wrong teachings All prophets taught that we can earn salvation by obedience, repentance, and good deeds to help others. Jesus also taught that we can earn salvation by obedience, repentance, and good deeds to help others. No sacrifice is necessary for salvation. No bloodshed is necessary for salvation. No savior should die for the salvation of others; everyone is responsible for his own salvation. Jesus has confirmed the same in Matthew 18:21-35, 6:14-15, Mark 11:25-26, and Luke 6:36-37 The only exceptions are the teachings of Paul who was not educated by Jesus and who taught the distorted teachings of original sin, atonement, and salvation by grace without obedience to God’s law. Jesus did not teach that a man is justified according to God’s plan or by faith without the deeds of the law; In Matthew 16:27 and John 5:29, Jesus has confirmed that God will reward each person according to his deeds; those are the basic teachings of the old testimony like the verses taught in Psalm 62:12, Ecclesiastes 12:14, and many other old testimony verses
  • 31. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The teachings of Atonement were taught by Paul in Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Romans 4:25, Galatians 1:4, 1 Corinthians 5:7, Ephesians 5:2, Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:13-14 But Paul failed to teach the wise teachings of Jesus When the scribes wanted to support the doctrine of Atonement they have added verses like Matthew 18:11 For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost The bible footnotes explain that verse Matthew 18:11 was not in the original old scriptures Hebrews 9:22 “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” is a misunderstanding of verse Leviticus 17:11 which is not about atonement but is about dietary laws. God has clarified that blood in meat is not good for health; that clarification was necessary to the people who do not have advanced medical tools to know that eating the meat with the blood still in it is bad for health The true word of God is not what is written by the unknown writer of Hebrews; it is what has been taught by Moses, Jesus and the Prophets who taught the forgiveness is possible by obedience, repentance, and prayers Proverbs 16:6 teaches that “In mercy and truth atonement is provided for iniquity.”
  • 32. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Psalm 69:30-31 teach that praise worship is better than sacrifice 2 Chronicles 7:14 teaches that forgiveness is obtainable without blood sacrifice ‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin’ Jonah 3 teaches that people are forgiven when they repented and fasted, without offering any sacrifice and without shedding any blood Proverbs 17:15 states: ‘He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination unto God’ That should be considered as a warning to the teachers who promise free salvation to the sinners and who teach that the innocent has been punished on behalf of the sinners Jesus taught the parable of The Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32 to highlight the importance of obedience and repentance as the main pre-requisites for salvation That is the core Christianity teaching as taught in Matthew 7:21 Not every one that said to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven
  • 33. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Jesus has confirmed the teachings of the Old Testimony ‘in repentance and obedience is your salvation’ as taught in Isaiah 30:15 In Matthew 25:31-45 Jesus described the final judgment as being based on good works; he clarified that those who obey the law will be saved Salvation is not based solely on belief and nothing else; salvation is not granted to those who merely profess acceptance of Jesus without performing kind or compassionate deeds Jesus did not teach that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law; In Matthew 16:27 and John 5:29, Jesus has confirmed that God will reward each person according to his deeds; those are the basic teachings of the old testimony like the verses taught in Psalm 62:12, Ecclesiastes 12:14, and many other old testimony verses In Luke 13:3 and 13:5, Jesus taught that repentance is necessary for salvation But unless you repent, you too will all perish
  • 34. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Mark 12:33 teaches: And to love one’s neighbor as himself, is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices What Jesus taught here is not different from the wisdom taught by the old testimony Hosea 6:6 ‘For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings’ That verse teaches us that forgiveness is possible by repentance and obedience; no sacrifice is necessary Matthew 9:13 teaches that Jesus came to call the sinner to repentance ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice, for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance’ The early Christians who followed the teachings of Jesus were true Christians. They did not worship Jesus as God because the concept of trinity was not yet defined by the church fathers. Jesus did not claim to be a God, he did not ask the disciples to worship him as a God, he asked them to pray to the only true God (his God and their God).
  • 35. Identification of the True and wrong teachings When the scribes wanted to support the doctrine of Trinity; they have added verses like 1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one” The bible footnotes explain that verse 1 John 5:7 was not in the original old scriptures. Jesus referred to himself as “son of man”. Jesus was not all-knowledgeable and he prayed to GOD, so this is enough to say that he wasn’t God nor did God come down to earth to be Jesus. Jesus said, “And this is life eternal, that they might know You the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:3 Jesus said that he does not know everything; he said that only God knows But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father Mark 13:32 Jesus said that he is not equal to God “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” John 5:30 Jesus said, “The Father is greater than I.” John 14:28 “Jesus answered them, and said, my doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.” John 7:16
  • 36. Identification of the True and wrong teachings John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say John 14:24 Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me In Matthew 19:16-17 and Luke 18:19 Jesus denied being good in the sense that God is good. ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.’ Jesus is called a “Man” many times in the Bible of John 8:40, Acts 17:31 ‘a man who has told you the truth’ The disciples have introduced Jesus as a “Man” in Acts 2:22 and Acts 2:23
  • 38. Identification of the True and wrong teachings How did the Muslims distort the teachings of Islam? Many Muslim scholars teach that the Jews are cursed and the Christians have been misguided and that the Muslims are the truly guided people; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses; it is not the correct explanation of verse 1:7 of Quran. The correct explanation is asking God to guide us to the straightway; the way of the blessed obedient not the way of those who disobey the prophets. Many Muslim scholars want to say that God does not like the Jews and the Christians; but the true and fair explanation is that God does not like the Jews who disobey the teachings of Moses, and does not like the Christians who disobey the teachings of Jesus and also does not like the Muslims who disobey the teachings of Islam The prophet of Islam has warned of the bad Muslim scholars who order others to do good but they do not do good and who forbid others from evil while they do evil That hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari 7098 - Book 92, Hadith 49
  • 39. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The prophet of Islam warned those who abandon the true teachings of Islam and who justify fighting and killings; he warned of that in many Hadiths like Bukhari 7070 - Book 92, Hadith 21 and 7077 - Book 92, Hadith 28 and 121 - Book 3, Hadith 63 In another Hadith, he described the bad Muslim scholars who justify killing as ‘worst people under the sky’. That is recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276 Although the true Islamic teachings like Verse 5:32 of Quran forbid killing and teach that whoever kills a soul it is as if he had slain mankind entirely, many bad Muslim scholars abandon the true teachings and justify the killings. Verse 25:30 of Quran warns of those who abandon the teachings of Islam Many Muslim scholars teach that Prophet’s intercession will save the Muslims who do not do good deeds; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses Many Muslim scholars teach that God has predestined some people to heaven even before they are born and regardless of any good or bad deeds they do; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses
  • 40. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The true teachings of the Quran verses like 7:96,17:15,30:44-45,34:25-26, 41:46,43:72,45:15,45:20-31 and 46:13 prove that those scholars are mistaken Many Muslim scholars teach that God has predestined the sins to be committed by each person; that is not according to the true teachings of Quran verses Many Muslim scholars like to explain some verses to blame the Jews and the Christians; some examples are Quran verses 6:20 and 2:146 Many Muslim scholars like to explain those verses as those who have been given the Torah and the Bible deny the Prophet of Islam although they know him as they know their children Those Muslim scholars who like the above explanation ignore the following true explanation: Those to whom We have given the Scripture recognize it as they recognize their [own] sons The pronoun in the verses should refer to the scripture; not to the Prophet because that is the correct use of the pronoun as shown in other verses like 2:121
  • 41. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Many Muslim scholars want to claim that the Prophet of Islam knows the unknown and whatever he said must be the true word of God; the truth is what is said by the Prophet himself and what was written in Quran verses 6:50, 7:188, 9:43, 17:85 and the Hadith in Bukhari 2680 and in Muslim 5830. Those Muslim scholars must know the verses and the Hadiths. The Prophet mentioned that he does not know the unknown and sometimes he accepted the recommendations of other people and changed what he planned to do according to the advices of others Many Muslim scholars refer to verses 23:52 and 21:92 as related to the nation of Islam and they urge Muslims to be united as one nation, but the context before the verses is related to the nation of all prophets as one nation; the verses 23:23- 51 are related to prophets like Noah, Moses and Jesus and verse 23:52 is addressed to those prophets ‘your religion, is one religion’ Chapter 21 is related to the prophets and the title of that chapter is ‘the prophets’ as verses 21:48-91 are related to the prophets like Moses, Abraham, Lot, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Solomon, Job and Jesus; verse 21:92 is the message to those prophets ‘your religion, is one religion’
  • 42. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The same message is confirmed in Quran 42:13 which is a call to establish the same one religion which has been revealed to the prophets and not to be divided. That call does not advise Muslims to establish the religion of Islam and ignore what have been revealed to the prophets, the call teaches that the religion to be established is what has been revealed to those prophets That is also confirmed in Verse 2:136; God knows that some Muslims claim to be the truly guided nation, that the religion of Islam is the best religion and that the prophet of Islam is the best prophet. God does not accept such exaggerations and prompts them about what they are supposed to say Say: "We believe in God and that which is revealed to us; and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and their descendants, and that which was given to Moses, Jesus, and other Prophets from God. We do not discriminate any of them, and to God we have surrendered ourselves
  • 43. Identification of the True and wrong teachings That is also what the prophet of Islam taught in Hadith Bukhari 652 when he mentioned that the Prophets are brothers, their religion is one religion The true message to be explained is not to unite the Muslim as one distinguished nation, but the verses teach that the followers of prophets have divided their one religion (verse 21:93) and to teach that the followers of the prophets who truly believe and do good deeds will be rewarded (verse 21:94) Such verses prove the mistakes of the Muslims who claim that they are the truly guided people and that Jews are cursed and Christians are misguided The Muslim scholars who justify killing the hostages are mistaken; verse 8:70 proves that the hostage is not to be killed, because Muslims are supposed to comfort the hostages and they cannot comfort them after killing them ‘say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If God knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you; and God is Forgiving and Merciful’
  • 44. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The Muslim scholars who justify killing the unbelievers are mistaken; verse 9:6 is enough proof that the unbelievers are not to be killed, because Muslims are supposed to protect the unbelievers and they cannot protect them after killing them ‘And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of God. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know’ The Muslims who are not righteous and fair toward others are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 60:8 which teaches: ‘God does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, God loves those who act justly’ The Muslims who oppose peace with others are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 8:61 and 4:90 which teach ‘If they resort to peace, so shall you’ and ‘if they leave you alone, refrain from fighting you, and offer you peace, then GOD gives you no excuse to fight them’
  • 45. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The Muslims who justify killing of innocent people are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teachings like 17:33, 25:68 and 6:151 which teach ‘You shall not kill - God has made life sacred’ The Muslims who justify killing of disbelievers are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teaching 2:256 which teaches that ‘There shall be no compulsion in religion’ The Muslims who justify killing of those who decide to leave Islam are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teaching 18:29 which teaches Freedom of Religion ‘then whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve’ People are free to choose their faith and only God can question them about their choice The Muslims who try to spread God's Message by unwise means are not true Muslims because they do not obey the Islamic teaching 16:125 which teach ‘You shall invite to the path of your Lord with wisdom and kind enlightenment, and debate with them in the best possible manner’
  • 46. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The Muslim scholars who teach that the prophet of Islam is better than other prophets and that he knows the unknown are mistaken; they have been asked not to make any distinction between the prophets. They should follow Quran verse 46:9 which teaches that prophet of Islam was not superior to other messengers Say, "I am not something original among the messengers, nor do I know what will be done with me or with you. I only follow that which is revealed to me, and I am not but a clear warner."46:9 The Muslim scholars who teach that Islam is the only true religion are mistaken; they have been asked to believe in what has been revealed to Moses, Jesus and other Prophets as taught in 3:84 The Muslim scholars who teach that the good deeds of the Jews and Christians are not accepted are mistaken. Verses 3:113-115 teach that there are Jews and Christians who follow Moses and Jesus and that those will be rewarded for their obedience and for their good deeds The Muslim scholars who teach that some Muslims will not be punished for their sins are mistaken; the prophet urged all Muslims to obey; verse 4:123 teaches ‘Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it’
  • 48. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The Muslim scholars who teach that God predestines some for punishment and some for good rewards are mistaken; verse 4:147 teaches that there is no punishment for those who choose to obey and to thank God As Moses and Jesus warned of the false teachers who explain religion to their benefits, the prophet of Islam has also warned of those who ignore the true teachings and teach different teachings “I will say those people are from me. It will be said, 'You do not know what changes and new things they did after you.' Then I will say, 'Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the religion) after me!” That is recorded in Bukhari 7051 Book 92, Hadith 4 and in Volume 9, Book 88, Hadith 174 The prophet of Islam has warned of the bad Muslim scholars who order others to do good, but they do not do good and who forbid others from evil while they do evil That hadith is recorded in Sahih al-Bukhari 7098 - Book 92, Hadith 49
  • 49. That is recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276 The best advice is to follow the common ground of the clear teachings as taught by the prophets. The same message revealed to the prophets by the same God must be consistent, clear and easy for all people regardless of their level of education or experience
  • 50. Identification of the True and wrong teachings Summary The common ground of religion teachings includes: In obedience and repentance is your salvation, if you obey and do good deeds, you will be blessed, if you disobey you will be lost; that is the clear message. That message is the most consistent message by Moses, confirmed by Jesus and by Islamic teachings Instead of the true religion teachings which should unite all people under the same guidelines of obedience, repentance, forgiveness, good deeds and compassion; we find the distorted teachings which agitate hatred and the unnecessary endless wars and sectarian conflicts. We have the choice to be like the son who says that if the word of God includes so much cruelty and so many contradictions, then I do not need the word of such God
  • 51. Identification of the True and wrong teachings We also have the choice to be like the son who says we cannot teach the harsh teachings like ‘pluck out your eye’ or ‘woe to you’ or ‘freely you have received; freely give’, we should continue to teach attractive teachings because we need an income to survive The prophet of Islam warned those who abandon the true teachings of Islam and who justify fighting and killings; he warned of that in many Hadiths like Bukhari 7070 - Book 92, Hadith 21 and 7077 - Book 92, Hadith 28 and 121 - Book 3, Hadith 63 In another Hadith, he described the bad Muslim scholars who justify killing as ‘worst people under the sky’. That is recorded in Mishkat al-Masabih 1/91 Hadith 276
  • 52. Identification of the True and wrong teachings The best advice is to follow the common ground of the clear teachings as taught by the prophets. The same message revealed to the prophets by the same God must be consistent, clear and easy for all people regardless of their level of education or experience We also have choice to be like the son who says maybe the father is testing us; maybe some of my brothers have changed the message of the father to explain it to their benefits We also have the choice to be like the son who says that he knows the true words of the wise father as he knows his own children, he will continue to identify the truth that hurts and he would happily accept any persecution from the majority which hate the truth; that is what the prophets did and that is what the prophets ordered us to do.
