2. Busch Gardens
• Busch Gardens is an African-themed amusement park and
zoo filled with thrilling rides and roller coasters, animal
habitats, and entertainment located all over the park.
• It has a total of 16 different rides and roller coasters varying
from water rides to 90 degree drops.
• It has over ten different animal attractions that include large
amounts of animals and wildlife, such as birds, cats, and
reptiles.
• Busch Gardens also presents six different shows that
entertain people of all ages.
3. Adventure Islands
Adventure Islands is an outdoor water theme park
located across the street from Busch Gardens.
The park features 30 acres of water rides, dining, and
other attractions.
There are ten rides, two defunct rides, five pools, six
attractions, and six places to dine at.
Adventure Islands is a great place to visit on a hot
summer day because one can cool off easily by just
riding one of the rides.
4. Beaches
• Although there isn’t any beaches
located right in the heart of Tampa,
it only takes approximately 25-45
minutes to reach a few beaches
that are worth your while.
• Fred Howard is the closest beach
from Tampa and is located in
Tarpon Springs.
• Clearwater Beach is close to
Tampa too. Traffic can delay the
time of getting there, but it is worth
the wait because of how pretty it is.
• Also, St. Petersburg is
approximately a 45 minute drive.
However, it is also worth it
because of the Don Cesar Hotel
located on St. Petersburg Beach.

5. The Tampa Riverwalk
• The Tampa Riverwalk is located in the city of Tampa.
• The riverwalk provides access to anyone that wants to
enjoy a nice walk, jog, or bike along the continuous
pathway going from Channelside to Tampa Heights
along the east side of the Hillsborough River.
6. The Florida Aquarium
There are over 20,000 aquatic animals and plants at
The Florida Aquarium.
There are five different kid-friendly exhibits that vary
from leaping lemurs to coral reef to sharks and
stingrays.
The Florida Aquarium provides eleven different animal
shows and appearances all day long located all around
the aquarium.
7. Museum of Science &
Industry (MOSI)
MOSI has over 450 interactive exhibits on space and
astronomy, technology, robotics, gaming, and more.
At MOSI, there is an IMAX Dome that play movies and
documentaries in 3D on one of the world’s largest
screen.
MOSI is a playground of fun that will make you forget
it’s educational!
8. Lowry Park Zoo
Lowry Park Zoo 63 acre nonprofit zoo recognized for its
wildlife conservation and biodiversity.
It has over 1,300 animals.
Some of these animals include hippopotamus,
rhinoceros, tigers, elephants, deer, panthers,
chimpanzees, siamangs, giraffes, okapis, koalas,
orangutans, komodo dragons, babirusas, clouded
leopards, American black bears, sloth bears, malayan
tapirs, and African penguins.
