8. MILNA island Brac
Milna - the place on the western coast of the
island, located in the cove of the same name.
Owing to many hills surrounding Milna, its
harbour is protected from all winds except from
pleaeant summer mistrels, so it is the best
natural harbour on the island. Therefore the ACI
MARINA is located there. As a part of ACI
marina, there is a 100 years shipyard that has
been renewed and now bears a name of ACI
BRODOREMONT - MILNA. Beautiful coves with
sand and gravel beaches stretch along the coast
(Pasika, Lucice, Osibova, Maslinova). There is a
marvellous swimming beach in the cove Vlaska.

12. Green island in the midst of the blue
Adriatic open sea, surrounded by
numerous small silver islands. An island
and archipelago that like by a miracle
escaped the blessings of civilization.
Lastovo. Maybe the last piece of the
former Mediterranean Homer came and
Lord Byron took his inspiration from.
Lastovo means a vacation in harmony
with untouched nature, a vacation in the
ambience of traditional architecture, a
vacation where you will enjoy healthy
and fresh island food from the fields and
the crystal-clear sea, a vacation with
wine already drunk by the roman
emperors.

14. MLJET
The island of Mljet is situated in the
southern Dalmatian archipelago. The
landscape of the island seems to justify
the opinion of those who think of it as of
the «enchanted island» where Ulysses
was captured by charming Calypso. 90%
of the area of the national park is covered
with forest. Its relief is characterized by
ranges of limestone elevations and
numerous karst valleys and fields.

16. DUBROVNIK
Upon the legend it was established by refugees
from Epidaurus (today’s town of Cavtat) in the 7th
century. They were running from the invasion of
the Avares and Slaves and stopped on the small
stone island of Laus. On the opposite side of that
island, on the coast, developed the Slavic
settlement, which was named Dubrovnik due to
rich woods. The great powers in the history
acknowledged the sovereignty of Dubrovnik: the
Byzantium, Venice, Croat-Hungary, the Turks.
With an intelligent diplomacy Dubrovnik
succeeded to preserve its liberty and internal
independence and developed into one of the
greatest maritime, commercial and cultural
centres, especially in the 15th and 16th century.

The greenest, most independent and
most interesting of Croatia's 1,000 or
so islands, Korcula was a favourite
Greek holiday spot over 2,000 years
ago. Very much a law unto itself - as
you might expect from a community
that resisted the sieges of centuries -
Korcula town is a mini-fortress
enclosed with honey-coloured stone
walls that contain hidden treasures,
from icons to Tiepolos, as well as
architectural delights in every narrow,
cobbled street.
