3. Introduction
Over the last decades, the overall human
developments led an unfavourable climate
changes and natural disasters. The negative
impact of the human beings makes strong
degradation of the environment as well as
earth’s ecosystem. It is essential that the
natural resources and ecosystem could be
survived for future generation.
4. Sustainable Development (SD)
Emerged - World Conservation Strategy
(WCS) in 1980 (Mishra, Jain, Shrivastava
and Shrivastava, 2015).
First Used - Gro Harlem Brundtland,
Norway prime minister as well as the
chairman of World Commission of
Environment
6. Sustainable Development (SD)
United States meant the sustainable
development as ‘meets the need of the
present without sacrificing the ability of
future generations to meet their own
needs’(County, 2012).
7. Sustainable Development (SD)
that meets the need of the present without
sacrificing the ability of future generations to
meet their own needs. Sustainable Development
is not a fixed state of harmony , but rather a
process of change in which the exploitation of
resources, the direction of investment, the
orientation of technological development and
institutional change are made consistent with
future as well as present needs”
World Commission on Environment and
Development (1987)
