Business Ethics
1. Business exists to supply goods and services to the people is the point of
view of society.
2. The primary objective of a business firm is to earn profit is the point of
view of individual.
3. The word ethics has its orgin in the Greek word ethics.
4. The word meaning of ethics is character, norms, ideals prevalling in a
society.
5. Ethics is concerned with human behavior judged on the basis of a standard
form of conduct of individuals, as approved by society in a particular field
of activity.
6. Ethics may be viewed as the entire body of moral values that society
attaches to the actions of human beings.
7. Ethics can also refer to codes or other system for controlling means so that
they serve human ends.
8. Ethical behavior is just and fair conduct which goes beyond observing laws
and government regulations.
9. The set of principles called ethics may be written or unwritten codes or
principles governing a professional or human activity.
10.Business eithics concerns itself with the relationship between business
objectives, practices, techniques and the good of society.
11.Business eithics refer to the socially determined moral principles which
should govern business activities.
12.A business person behaves ethically when his action ae upright and save the
interest of society.
13.Business people and politicians are expected to have higher standards over
and above other people.
14.Ethical business is good business.
15.Ethical business behavior improves public image, earns peoples confidence
and leads to greater success.

Business ethics concerns itself with relationship between objectives,
practices and techniques and the good of society.
To generate an idea about concept business ethics, understanding and
establishing the importance of business ethics and observing, discussing,
identifying and organizing he concept business ethics through general
discussion and group discussion and students develop a practical outlook
based on it.

and formulates ideas or concept.

Phase I : Introduction Phase
Activity I : Story Telling, General Discussion)
After the routine classroom practices, teacher begins the class by
make an interaction with students.
Then teacher creates an imaginary situation.
Arun is a businessman who follows certain names and values in his
business like fair products, fair treatment to workers etc. and also Arun
earns only reasonable profits.
Then teacher ask to the learners to say anything about the above
situation. Learners give different answers. Teacher conduct a general
discussion and gives some clues.
 Business objectives

 Moral principles.
All students are actively
participated and motivated
Students contribute valuable and
creative idea/throught that focus to
reach the concept
Based on the above leads points the learner reached to an idea about
business ethics.
Business Ethics
Business ethics concerns itself with relationship between objectives,
practices and techniques and the good of society.
Phase II: Development Phase
Activity 2 : Group discussion)
Teacher asked to the learners to form 5 base group and
discuss the business ethics.
By continuing teacher gives the following key point with activity
sheet to arrive at the concept.
 Earning reasonable profit
 Serve the Society
 Business Objectives
Teacher tries to clarify the students doubt. After the prescribed time
limit, the teacher invite the group members for presentation.
Phase III: Concluding Phase
(Activity 3 : General Discussion)
Direct discussion from previously discussed details the teacher ask to
the learner to explain the business ethics.
Most of the students meaningfully
link their previous experience with
the new learning situation.
All the students eagerly motivated
and properly established
relationship between prior learning
with new knowledge
All are motivated to sequentially
process the concept.
All the group members are
positively respond to reach the
concept.
Finally the teacher consolidated the concept with relevant clarification

Business exists to supply goods and services to the people is the point of view of society. 2. The primary objective of a business firm is to earn profit is the point of view of individual. 3. The word ethics has its orgin in the Greek word ethics. 4. The word meaning of ethics is character, norms, ideals prevalling in a society. 5. Ethics is concerned with human behavior judged on the basis of a standard form of conduct of individuals, as approved by society in a particular field of activity.
  • 2. 6. Ethics may be viewed as the entire body of moral values that society attaches to the actions of human beings. 7. Ethics can also refer to codes or other system for controlling means so that they serve human ends. 8. Ethical behavior is just and fair conduct which goes beyond observing laws and government regulations. 9. The set of principles called ethics may be written or unwritten codes or principles governing a professional or human activity. 10.Business eithics concerns itself with the relationship between business objectives, practices, techniques and the good of society. 11.Business eithics refer to the socially determined moral principles which should govern business activities. 12.A business person behaves ethically when his action ae upright and save the interest of society. 13.Business people and politicians are expected to have higher standards over and above other people. 14.Ethical business is good business. 15.Ethical business behavior improves public image, earns peoples confidence and leads to greater success.

Then teacher creates an imaginary situation. By continuing teacher gives the following key point with activity sheet to arrive at the concept.  Earning reasonable profit  Serve the Society  Business Objectives Teacher tries to clarify the students doubt. After the prescribed time limit, the teacher invite the group members for presentation. Phase III: Concluding Phase (Activity 3 : General Discussion) Direct discussion from previously discussed details the teacher ask to the learner to explain the business ethics. Most of the students meaningfully link their previous experience with the new learning situation. All the students eagerly motivated and properly established relationship between prior learning with new knowledge All are motivated to sequentially process the concept.
