Description:
Pharmacy Inventory Management System facilitates to manage the inventory of the
Pharmacy on a day to day basis for taking care of the pharmacy inventory accurately and
efficiently. The system keeps track of the purchases, stock, reorder levels, supplies, issues,
returns, billing and expiry. The various kinds of reports generated help to make timely
decisions and appropriate actions towards smooth operation of pharmacy leading to customer
satisfaction.
Functions of Pharmacy Inventory System:
Purchase Order, Drugs issue to Out Patients and Wards, Stocks issue for internal use,
Pharmacy Billing to Patients, Drug Return from Out-Patients and Wards, Supplier Information,
Goods Receipt Notes, Drug Expiry Management and Stock Transfer.
Responsibilities:
Developing the new screens by analyzing and understanding the client requirements.
Involved in design, development and implementation phases of each module.
Resolving the issues which are raised through customer support tool.
Developed Advance PL/SQLpackages, procedures, triggers, functions, Indexes and
Collections to implement business logic using SQLNavigator. Generated server side
PL/SQLscripts for data manipulation and validation and materialized views for remote
instances.

The KMED-H.I.S is an easy to maintain, ready to run, cost saving healthcare ERP solution
from Kranium suited for small & medium hospitals and nursing homes. It is being used by
corporate hospitals that have been able to modernize the organization with the help of our
software system and value added services such as data analytics, pharmacy optimization, in-
patient revenue management, fixed asset management and laboratory efficiency.
KMED-H.I.S hospital software consists of 20 modules to enable hospitals add new
departments as they grow. KMED-H.I.S delivers peace of mind through an unmatched bundle
of benefits and has helped improve hospital efficiency, multiply profits and save valuable
management time. Key Modules are like Patient Registration, Admission, Appointment,
Operation Theatre, Doctors, Nursing, Ambulatory, Laboratories, Billing, Special Tools, and
System Admin. Assigning duty doctor’s and nurse’s duty schedule. Creating user and
mentioning roles according to each users. Giving rights for every user and providing access
rights for individual users.
KMED includes wide range of labs includes Bacteriological Laboratory, Blood Bank,
Central Laboratory, Pathology, Radiology. Lab provides special features which uniquely
identify the problems.
Integration of Pharmacy Application with KMED-H.I.S
1. Allowing the individual nurses to raise the indents to pharmacy for patients.
2. Direct billing to the HIS Billing module for each pharmacy generated bills.
3. Returning the patients medicines to the pharmacy through on line before discharging.
4. Allowing the billing department to stop the pharmacy services for patients in case of
generated bill exceeds the advance amount.
5. Alerts to the pharmacy people when the patient is ready to discharge for clearance of
pending indents / returns.
