If I could read this language, I believe it
would say something about HyperX
headphones, an interview and the team
Mouseports. The image itself is taken in
Cologne, Germany; at an event for epic
gamers. The feature photo is spread across
the height of the cover, only being stopped
by the masthead at the top, which is
transparent anyways.
3. Existing Product
This is another one that I can’t read. They
only seem to make these in German. In the
footer, it has a capitalized “LOL”, and
therefore this magazine is appealing as
best it can to people who are extremely
funny. The barcode for this product is
integrated in the bottom very well, with
the menu strip. The feature photo has all
of the very cool videogame moments from
the last year.
4. Existing Product
This one is very epic, because it is in the
very readable language. The best gamer
moment was in the kicker, where they talk
about guns and how young they are for
some reason. They use a lot of Photoshop
to change how the feature photo looks
and how it is very bad.
5. Research Analysis
• What common features do the researched
products have?
– They all very consistently have rectangular boxes
around all text.
– If photos are used, they aren’t taken in a studio, but at
events with many gamers around them.
• What aspects of the research will you include
within your on work?
– I’m going to copy the designs too much and not have
it be very original.
– I know at least, that the colour scheme will be very
blue, and shapes will be very gamer style.
