PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Design Principal (2010-present)
SEEK Collaborative Design Studio – Perry Twp., Ohio
Design firm specializing in the development of graphic presentations, logos, branding, marketing
collateral, corporate identity, wayfinding systems, signage and retail spaces for the corporate, retail
and civic environment.
Responsible for the creation and management of multiple graphic design, wayfinding and
environmental graphic design projects from inception through implementation phases as well as
creating and maintaining the budgeted fees.
 Lead designer in the development of logos, marketing collateral, project identity, design
presentations, package design, signage and wayfinding programs for corporate, education,
retail, medical and civic projects.
 Works closely with printers in the creation of all print media collateral.
 Responsible for photography and photo manipulation when needed.
 Responsible for the creation of project scope of services, billing responsibilities and project
scheduling resulting in profitable projects and high client satisfaction.
Director of Public Relations and Marketing (2010-2016)
Lake Erie College – Painesville, Ohio
 Graphic designer for all print, advertising, on-line, e-newsletters, videos and social media
marketing collateral for the College.
 College spokesperson for contact with the media and responsible for the creation and
distribution of press releases.
 Developed file structure and maintained image/project library of all files to create organization
within the department.
 Designer/editor/photographer for the bi-annual College magazine.
 College art director/photographer for photo shoots and video.
 Lead designer for the redesign and rebranding of the College’s responsive website.
 Collaborated with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain all brand and editorial
standards in support of the College's image.
 Worked closely with printers in the production of all print media collateral.
 Developed, coordinated and implemented the College’s strategic marketing plan, public relations
and social media plans and oversaw news media activity, website design and content.
 Developed RFP’S and managed contracts with all outside vendors.
 Successfully maintained over $300,000 budget for Public Relations and Marketing which helped
to increase enrollment by 9%.
 Created and presented all presentations for Board of Directors meetings, Chamber of Commerce
and all governmental or private entities.

Lead designer / Studio Leader responsible for creating design direction and managing staff on
numerous projects from concept to design development, also responsible for creation of client
contracts, billing responsibilities including coordination with client, fabricators and consultants.
 Prepared and performed client presentations to gain approval on project design direction, which
led to greater collaboration and efficiency with scope of work.
 Led team in development of project identity, signage, wayfinding programs, graphics and
marketing materials for multiple clients. Types of projects ranged from corporate to retail work.
 Created and performed presentations to government entities and in public forums to gain
approval of client projects when city approvals were a necessary part of the design process.
 Managed multiple projects in fast-paced environment, which included coordination with client,
construction mgr., architects, consultants and fabricators to create successful and profitable
projects with fees ranging from $5,000 to 3 million dollars.
 Actively participated in strategic development retreats, marketing department strategies,
management team mtgs., staffing and business development meetings to become an integral
part of the company and add more value as an employee.
 Responsible for creating training materials and managed the coaching and training of ka staff on
their individual professional development which led to greater productivity and efficiencies for
staff and the overall firm.
