Ministry Update January 2016
While recovering from the snow storm 2016 I wanted to give you an update on our ministry. Today be-
cause of the weather we canceled two church services at a prison here in Delaware. This has not been the
case with other prisons that we have been too this month. It seems as through the windows of heaven
have been opened this month. We have been blessed with delivering 2800 Bibles to three different pris-
ons so far this month. It is rather amazing to listen to guards when you take in boxes of Bibles each
month. One guard asked where are you taking all these Bibles? The prison system in Philadelphia has
10,000 inmates at any given time. We mainly go to the intake facility where the population changes often.
This is where most of the Bibles go in Phila. We see a great harvest here because the guys are just entering
the system and often times very open to the gospel. The greatest need that we have is Spanish Bibles. One
case of Spanish Bibles cost One Hundred six dollars (106.00) delivered.
We have started out in 2016 with our vision of doing more than ever before. Our goal in these last day’s is
putting more Bibles into the hands of the lost. One copy of God’s Word can change several that read it.
One of our obstacles is getting Bibles in to the inmates. Our team is told often they want a Bible but can-
not get one. We give our address to the guys and ask them to write and we send them a Bible individually.
The Bible is the answer to all our needs. When we were unloading the boxes of Bibles recently, several
inmates that were helping us, said Mr. Russ THANK YOU, this is what we need in here. I told them that
we are able to give these Bibles because many God fearing Christians have a burden to share the Precious
Word of God to this lost and dying world. This blew him away and tears began to flow down his face.
WOW!!! Is all he could say.
Special Prayer needed. We must replace our current computer SOON. $750.00 Our tires on our vehi-
cle are wearing out, $850.00 We drive app 45,000 to 50,000 per year. My old body is wearing out and
wearing down. Prayer is needed.
