5. INTRODUCTION
The biggest project of its kind in Northern India, the
science city has been setup in 72 acres of land in
Jalandhar-Kapurthala road ,Punjab. Science city offers
a blend of education, curiosity ,entertainment and
fun.
PGSC,covers areas like natural ,social science,
engineering, science, technology ,health
science,human evolution,space,dinosaurs,etc.
The total cost of science city is Rs.100 crore.
6. .
OBJECTIVES:-
To Create Awareness of Science in the
Community.
To develop the interactive learning center
through a playful approach.
To install state of the Art gadgets and exhibits
to support presentation.
To supplement Formal Education at grass root
level.
7. HISTORY
The foundation stone
was laid by Sh.Inder
Kumar Gujral on
October 17,1997.
The first phase was
inaugurated by
Lt.S.F.Rodrigues,Govern
er of Punjab on March

9. SCIENCE VOYAGE HALL
This hall is a combination of different types of models,
it comprises of models of life beginning on Earth, to
model of journey of Human being to reach out in space.
There are around 80 exhibits at present which are on
exhibition in the center and sides of hall.
