Spanish tapas dish
Recipe for “spicy potatoes wedges”
2. Ingredients
Server for 4 people:
• ½ kilo potatoes
• 3 cloves of garlic
• ¼ litre virgin olive oil
• a pinch of cayenne pepper
• 100g tomato sauce
• a stick of parsley
• a teaspoonful of spicy paprika
• salt
3. Preparations
1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium sized
dices.
2. Start to cook them in boiling water with salt for 5
minutes so that they are still very raw.
3. Next, drain them. In a frying pan with warm oil, brown
them over a medium heat and move them onto a large
plate.
4. Take out part of the oil from the frying pan and fry the
garlic parsley and the cayenne pepper in it.
5. Add the tomato sauce.
6. Finally add the paprika and stir. Pour the fried mixture
over the potatoes and serve.
