To create an app for interior design which connects interior designers, clients looking to remodel their place and contractors
offering their services. It also needs to have a marketplace for furniture and real estate
To validate the problem and come up with a solution following UX design process
Roman Tkachenko – UX Design
I don’t have an opportunity to share
my ideas with other design
professionals and connect with the
community where they share ideas
and get inspiration.
Of course, I can share my designs
on Pinterest or Facebook, but I have
other friend except for designers
who feel a bit confused with the
content that I post.
To be hired for the project, you
need rich portfolio and actual
job experience. But how am I
supposed to be get this
experience if nobody wants to
hire me?
I want to look for clients and
bid for a job, showing that I
have a vision and creative
ideas for a reasonable price
When finding clients for renovation or
remodeling, we need to have a
credibility and proven track record of
successful projects.
Potential clients will definitely want to
work with you when you have positive
reviews and references from your
previous customers
Finding a designer who would
really understand how to
visualize my ideas is priceless.
When I was renovating my
kitchen I struggled with finding
an interior designer for an
affordable price

work to potential clients
o To connect the community of
fellow designers and explore
design resources, stay up-do-
date with design trends
o To get hired for a design
project
o Quit his job as an analyst at a
large corporation to seek his
passion and graduated from a
design school
o Creative type, seeking inspiration
for his projects

Roman showed passion and dedication when working with us.
His expertise helped us to understand to define users,
understand their needs and goals. Research findings pivoted
whole project objectives, so instead of launching an app that
lacks clear message and overloaded with features and
functionality, we’ve decided to focus on a key problem and to
follow an MVP approach - we’ll launch an app that solves it.
I am glad to recommend Roman to his future clients.
