2. The primary goal of The Street Jam & Music Festival is to address the needs of young and up and coming
artist in the music industry. An increase in technology, Schools and Colleges around the country has
produced a wealth of extremely talented artist in the north east and around the country. The talent and
creativity of new writers, musicians, producers and other specialists became lost in ambiguity because of the
absence of a platform to display their work to established industry leaders. The strategy is to create a
platform that puts new national and local talent on display directly with established industry professional.
The Street Jam & Music Festival Program Strategies:
• Be a technical resource for the rebuilding of urban and community partnerships in
the arts
• Broaden public awareness and encourage national participation in the development
of new and progressive forms of the media and performing arts
• Provide distribution and technical assistance workshops
• Expand our affiliate network’s core with future leaders of the industry
• Act as an information and agent to industry resources on behind the scene and up
coming talents.
• Advocate for the needs of low-income music students to increase their opportunities
in the professional job market.
The Street Jam & Music Festival is grouped into four categories:
• The Rock Stage
• The R&B and Diversified Stage
• The Hip Hop Stage
• The All Day Dee Jay Party & Community Services fair
Three Stages
The primary goal of The Street Jam & Music Festival is to honor industry professionals in the
general who provide opportunities and mentoring to the growing Music community and to attract
them to an open forum showcasing the talents of new artist and other talented new comers in the
entertainment industry. The increase in Music and video technologies and the progressive
programs in our High Schools and Colleges are producing excellent work on web based media
such as YouTube and Vimeo. We are looking for new and innovative ways to promote the work of
young and upcoming artist and give recognition to their contributions of music veterans.
We have our scouts at premiere talent shows in the north east on the look out for new powerhouse
talents to invite to perform.
The Hip Hop Stage / The Rock Stage / The Diversified Stage
The Street Jam & Music Festival Music Festival is to address the needs of young and up and
coming Music making and their products. The major dilemma with Music festival Music is
distribution of the Music after the festival ends. There is a shortage of distributors that deem this
Music as investment worthy. The Street Jam & Music Festival Music Festival brings this Music to
an audience that has green light power and we are partnering to establish development,
management referral and distribution in our own rite. Music promoting, packaging and distribution
development and cataloging is the aim of some of our partners.
3. The Hip Hop stage
The Hip Hop stage consists of urban based lyrics over music, beats tracks or a Deejay.
Professionalism, stage performance, appearance, showmanship and content are considered for all
un-established artist.
The Rock stage
The Rock stage consists of mainstream music, heavy metal, punk; funk, pop, county western, rock
and hard rock. Professionalism, stage performance, appearance, showmanship and content are
considered for all un-established artist.
The Diversified stage
The Diversified stage consists of mainstream mellow music and cultural artist, R&B, Reggae, Jazz,
Salsa, Fusion and Soul. Professionalism, stage performance, appearance, showmanship and content
are considered for all un-established artist.
The All Day Dee Jay Party
The All Day Dee Jay Party consist of multiple recognized and up and coming DJ’s from the region
providing continuous free music surrounded by an assortment of free services and attractions for
the entire family; including: the health mobile, employment referral services, voters registration
and many other booths and tables with a plethora of giveaways and free services.
Talent Showcase
The competition portion of the festival has sections for both Music and performer. Submissions
from national talent show winner provide as many as 4 Artist from each of the three categories.
They will compete for prizes and/or services that further their creativity and/or objective as music
makers. Industry leaders, professional and talent scouts will be invited to judge the competition.
There is a non-refundable submission fee for online auditions

revenues that create substantial cash flow contributor. STREET JAM & MUSIC FESTIVAL will
establish itself as an international traveling festival for years to come.

FESTIVAL MANAGEMENT
Jamel Wade – Founder/Chairman
Jamel is the CEO of Seven Lights Productions and The Executive Director of Shallow Water
Entertainment. The award nominated director, actor and producer turned entrepreneur hold a
Bachelors degree in Music, Video and Theater from Villa Julie College; an Associates in Theater
Performance and Technical Theater from Howard Community College, with an Associates in
Management and Supervision Merv Griffin’s Academy. He has appeared in many stage
productions, Music’s and televisions shows. He was introduced to the entertainment industry since
the age of 8, the son an award wining singer and actor; he studied at the Brooklyn Conservatory of
Music and spent many days hanging around at Al Fann's Theatrical Ensemble in Harlem. His
directorial debut in 2003 “What Face Evil”, for the Try It Out Theater Company, was the
beginning and he has never looked back. Besides acting, directing, singing and writing, in 2005 he
was instrumental in the founding of Seven Lights Productions Inc. Through Seven Lights he wrote
and directed the award nominated documentary “Directors on Directing”, and wrote, directed and
produced the movie “Drugs 101 (2010)”.
Some of his acting credits include Anna Lucasta, South Pacific, Repeat Offender, The Waiting
Room, NBC's Commander-in-Chief, HBO's The Wire, The Highjacker and the Hound
Rick McEachern - President
Rick brings over 30 years of entertainment expertise and experience having started his professional
career as tour manager with the The Dazz Band. His theater and stage knowledge was acquired at
Cleveland's Historic Karamu House Theater as stage manager for many productions. A former
Record Company Executive for Polygram Label Group and an Independent Music Promoter. Rick
has Co-Produced and supplied annual entertainment for such events as The National Urban
League, Congressional Black Caucus, and Barneys of New York store grand openings, Blacks in
Government, Black and Latino Legislators of New York. Rick has been instrumental in bringing to
the stage such artist as Tony, Toni, Tone, U2, Salt & Pepper, Elton John, Will Downing, The
Cranberries, P.M. Dawn, Coolio, Raven Symone, Vanessa Williams, The Main Ingredient, Bob
Marley, Brian McKnight, Melissa Etheridge, Van Morrison, Patti LaBelle, Maze featuring Frankie
Beverly, Jennifer Holiday, Joe, Ledisi, Hidden Beach, James Brown, Lakeside, Roy Ayers, War,
Cameo, The Four Tops, The O'Jays, Gerald LeVert and Pieces of a Dream as well as Key Note
Speakers Bill Clinton, Kweisi Mfume
Kamell Ellis - Director of Marketing. Ellis is a seasoned business professional with a varied
background in marketing, Advertising and Event Planning. He began his entrepreneurial career in
the entertainment industry as a manager for his brothers’ fledgling rap group in the early 1990's.
5. Realizing he needed to learn about the business while building his industry network, he sought an
internship with Melquan Entertainment, a talent management agency which at the time handled the
careers of the Rza and the Gza of the World Famous Wu-Tang Clan. He produces a monthly
showcase for new artists at the upper west side hot-spot Sweetwaters before moving downtown to
Demerara's in the Chelsea area. Mr. Ellis would go on to be a principal partner in two other
Marketing/Advertising companies whose clients would include Warner Bros. Records, Universal
Records, Kedar Entertainment, Motown Records, the Apollo Theatre and Coca-Cola to name a
few. Mr. Ellis also holds an A.A.S Degree In Business Communications from Queensborough
Community College and a B.S. in Business/Marketing from S.U.N.Y Empire State.
Dina E. Williams - Director of Event Services & Planning (Festival Director)
Dina is Creative Director of Shallow Water Entertainment and coordinates the company's
theatrical productions and non-profit activities. She serves on the Executive Committee for Seven
Lights Productions. As a successful Event Producer, she knows how to turn a tornado into a gentle
breeze. She has administered various programs and projects for Federal, county, national, local,
private, non-profits, and individuals. Dina has expertly produced dozens of national events and
programs in such cities as Philadelphia, New York, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Chicago, Orlando
and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Satisfied clients include: Department of Health and
Human Services and National Institutes of Health (Program Manager); Frederick County,
Maryland Government (Cultural Festival Director); MD Ski Express (Sponsor and Coordinator);
Global Friendships (Foreign Student Exchange Manager); Diva World Productions (Dorothy
Dandridge Exhibit Producer); and the International Black Inventions Museum (Producer). As a
journalist for HYPE (Helping You Promote Entertainment) Magazine, and The County Globe
Newspaper, she interviewed and wrote feature articles for such celebrities as Stevie Wonder, Patti
Labelle, Luther Vandross, The Whispers, Al Green, and Joe Frazier. She is committed and can
properly plan, propose, perform, and promote progress, virtuously providing the ultimate service.
Portia Knights - Director of Administrative Service.
Portia began her media career as a newspaper reporter in her native country Guyana, South
America. Over the years she has been involved with all aspects of media including: radio,
television and film. Most recently, she was the First Assistant Director on the set of "The Rhythm
in Blue" movie scheduled for release in the Fall of 2014. She is also an adjunct communications
professor who teaches undergraduate students. Ms. Knights received her Associate in Applied
Science degree in Journalism & Print Media from Kingsborough Community College, her
Bachelors degree in Journalism, with a minor in Television & Radio from Brooklyn College and
her Masters degree in Media Studies from The New School in New York. She enjoys the outdoors
and adventures such as amusement parks/roller coasters and white water rafting among others. One
of the craziest and most fun adventures she has ever done is skydiving. For over 21 years she has
been volunteering in soup kitchens and other organizations. Knights believe that one should try
everything within reason at least once.
Ms. Baby Love - Director of Publicity/Social Networking.
Ms Love is the CEO of Gybele Entertainment known as the former BL Records founded in 1994.
Gybele Entertainment presents the educational platform on "The Business of Entertainment". It is
believed by Gybele Entertainment that a vast amount of artist may not be privy to "The Business
of Entertainment" and long term success.
BJ (Michael) Swinger - Executive Director of Operations.
Mr. Swinger attended high school and college in Queens NY where he now resides. Mr. Swinger
began his career working for Important Records owed by Barry Kobin in Rosedale NY. A
distributer of heavy metal and rock music, after moving to Hollis Queens and changing their name
to Relativity Records they started a pop, and hip/hop division. Mr. Swinger was promoted to
warehouse manger where he handled all daily operations of product distribution. Next Mr. Swinger
6. went to work for Watts Music one of the biggest house and hip/hop distributors in the country. It is
located in east rockaway long island, here Mr. Swinger over saw all daily operation for the next 12
years. Mr. Swinger in 1990 after about a good 20 years of shopping music to the major labels for
different producers in all genres. Became the CEO of Hot Trackz Entertainment based out of
Queens NY for the last13yrs. His management company has helped artist reach their goals in the
music industry/entertainment actors, models, dancers, and singers with the help of his sister
company Hot Trackz South run by partner Rodrick Weston.
Yaseen Allah - Creative Director. Yaseen is the CEO of Supreme Management & Entertainment
and manager of the Hip Hop group the A-Alikes. Supreme Management & Entertainment bridges
the gap between diverse cultures, focusing on the genres of hip hop and reggae. He Believes
“Music’s influence is omnipresent and has the capabilities to employ, educate and change the lives
of many people.” He is known for introducing people to new material and promoting those artists
he feel can make an impact on the lives of others. Informing audiences about new artists,
promoters, authors, lecturers, etc. as well as doing a plethora of positive things in the community.
We salute those who raise the consciousness of the public through various mediums of art
consistently shares resources and provide opportunities for new artistic growth and professional
development.
Shabazz Fuller - Director of Merchant Registration. Fuller is One of the fashion industry’s true
marketing and management visionaries, whose business acumen was honed by years of hands-on
experience, knowledge and success, “Although I was making money selling t-shirts on the streets
of Harlem, going to college was also a priority,” advises Fuller, who attended the prestigious
Howard University. Expanding his entrepreneurial endeavors to include Shabazz Furs, Fuller
designed for Quincy Jones, Big Daddy Kane, Charles Oakley, and other top celebrities. Also, he
entered the music industry, managing and guiding the careers of various hip-hop acts, including
the multi-platinum-selling Wu-Tang Clan. SHABAZZ BROTHERS URBANWEAR co founder
Barry White. In 1999, SBU was engaged by a licensee of Shaquille O’Neal’s TWISM brand to
oversee the brand management responsibilities of their license, while partnering in the expansion
of the SBU brand. This partnership, though showing great potential, was structurally flawed and
SBU did not match its prior brand-building success.
Life Allah - Talent and Sponsors Liaison.
Life is a highly respected sought after music and military veteran who has worked over 25 years as
a genuine professional who has constantly delivers strong direction and leadership that has resulted
in a consistent record of success. Originally from Queens, New York his music career began in
1989, working as an intern for Rush Artist Management headed by Hip-Hop mogul Russell
Simmons and Lyor Cohen. Quickly proving his ability to respond with results, he rose quickly
through the ranks. In 1990, he moved to Los Angeles to join The Steven Rifkin Company as retail
marketing manager. Life was an essential part in the growth of the company, which ultimately lead
to the creation of the Loud Records Label. Shortly thereafter, A&M Records created their newest
imprint Tuff Break Records and recruited Life as their National Director of Street Promotions. Life
holds an AAS degree in Emergency Medical Services, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business
Management, Master's degree in Management and Leadership from The American College and he
will be pursing his Juris Doctorate degree with an emphasis in Intellectual Property in 2015.
Bashek Brannon - Director of Security/Maintenance. Mr. Brannon is has more 25 year as an
investigator and security specialist with a background in management. Brannon has been providing
security for HBO, ABC, NBC and CBS for nearly 10 years He has provided security for many
artist and celebrities including Russell Simmons, Mariah Carrey and Anthony Anderson.
