20 years of experience and over 9 Billion in record sales. Her
Reputation as a top-selling retailer and queen of radio
promotions is only a portion of her life's accomplishments.
Her voting membership in the Atlanta Chapter of the Grammy's NARAS
authenticates her ear for quality chart topping music, she is also the
founder of Ark of the Covenant, a non-profit organization, which
provides life skills and mentoring to teen girls. As one of the first
prominent female fixtures in a male-dominated recording industry,
Arlinda's passion to give back is manifested through tapping into new
ground with the TV/WEB based show, Cooking With Hip Hop.
Ms. Garrett is Vice President of Marketing for Coming Attractions Promotions. Coming Attractions Promotions has evolved
into an industry forerunner managing the success of both independent and major artists‟ projects. While developing Coming
Attractions, Arlinda worked in various regional and national positions at major labels including Virgin/EMI, Priority/Capitol
Records, Universal and Epic/Sony BMG. In particular, she has also consulted on projects for Bad Boy, No Limit, SoSo Def and
recording artists Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, Ice Cube and Janet Jackson.
Arlinda founded Coming Attractions in the late 80's, “I wanted to consult with independent record labels and their artists;
provide direction for them personally and professionally, get their records played on the radio and provide a medium to track
sales,” says Ms. Garrett. “My goal was to help keep costs down because often times these independent guys do not have the
budgets that major artists have but they have product that is comparable if not better.” Under Arlinda‟s leadership, Coming
Attractions is able to provide the same services for independent record labels and their artists‟ that major labels offer.
Arlinda‟s name has become synonymous with talent, intelligence, and success. A no-nonsense entrepreneur, Arlinda also
maintained the title of record storeowner of A to Z Records for seven years in Stone Mountain, GA. A fearless female, Arlinda
has

Duane "Doc" Garrett is GM of Operations for Coming Attractions Promotions and Logistics Manager and Technical Director for
Cooking With Hip Hop. He has honed and sharpened his organizational skills through numerous marketing and promotions positions
with organizations including Tommy Boy Records, Straight Drop Entertainment, and Cornerstone Entertainment. A 2006 graduate of
Savannah State University, Duane’s current affiliations include serving on the executive board of Ark of the Covenant, a non-profit
teen mentoring organization and CEO of Cash Cache„, a styling company operating through Coming Attractions. A man of many
hats, Doc will fluently manage all resources behind the scenes that help to make Coming Attractions Promotions and Cooking With

Promotions is moving to the television screen with the creation of “Cooking with Hip Hop”, an industry professional with over
35 years in the industry is now focusing her talents and skills on bring the World of Hip Hop together with the Food Industry.
Wanting to bring a new concept to the food world, Arlinda is centering her show around
the things that the music industry, by having celebrity appearances, covering red carpet
events, and other various industry events during the show and centering the food that will
be prepared around the celebrity or event that is being covered to bring a complete fusion
and draw the viewers in to her world.
“I am bring the same thing to the Television that have brought to the Radio for
the past 35 years and that is passion”, states Arlinda, “Food is my second passion
