SUMMARY OF QUALIFCATIONS
 Bachelor Degree in Business Management
 30 years’ experience with the Nebraska National Guard with experience in Human Resources,
Logistics, Training, Operations, Construction Management, and Maintenance
 Previous supervisory experience, in leading and managing people, with a natural ability to build
rapport with others and work as a team player.
 Effective communication skills, both oral and written. Comfortable working with all levels of
management.
 Experienced in problem solving. To include identifying complex problems, reviewing the related
information to develop multiple courses of action, and implementing the most effective course of
action to resolve the issue.
 Proficient in MS Office suite, internet, and other dedicated military software databases.
EXPERIENCE
Organizational Skills
 Raised Nebraska Army National Guard incentives on time payment from 65% to 90% by
accurately reviewing, analyzing and processing requests for payment.
 Over five years’ experience with data entry into the Incentives Management Accounting Record
Center and Guard Incentive Management System along with other dedicated Military Software.
 Work within various dedicated military software applications to process case files while
coordinating second and third step processes to support and ensure timely processing of Soldier’s
incentives.
 Developed multiple tracking systems to ensure projects and tasks were completed on time.
 Coordinated with multiple agencies in multiple geographic locations in planning for military
operations.
Accountability
 Used basic and advance math skills to properly complete mission objectives.
 Research, analysis, and interpret complex issues and advised superiors or recommended courses
of action to resolve issues.
 Monitor contract eligibility requirements throughout the life of a contract and processed
appropriate actions in accordance with law, regulations and policy.

 Draft, review, revise and issue written and oral responses to Presidential, Congressional, and
Command Staff inquiries surrounding issues with contract disputes dealing with incentives.
 Receive case files via automation system, mail or email from various individuals to verify, the
validity of the information in the case file.
 Perform customer service via email and phone.
Research skills
 Independently research, interpret and analyze an extensive spectrum of sources including,
pertinent sections of United States Law, Department of Defense Instructions, Department of
Army Regulations, and National Guard Polices to resolve cases with incentives issues.
 Process Department of Defense forms, Department of Army forms and contracts using available
electronic systems through the verification of specific data points to make decisions and then
make appropriate updates to electronic incentives databases.
