PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT
• In Germany´s rivers, lakes forest, coast and
heaths support a wide variety of animals and
plants. The ecosystems are one of the most
vulrenable but now they are protected.
• One of the most vulnerable and now protected
animal is the Eagle. The White–tailed Eagle has
been the national symbol of Germany since the
romans ruled in Germania. Today strict laws
protect its habitats.
Education:
• In Germany, education is free in states-run school. Children
have go to school from the 8 of 6 to 15 years old . For school

• At primary school children read to learn and write as well as
study Math, Geograpgy ,and Science.
• High school, there are four types of schools that children can go
to the age of 10, depending on what they want to study and
how good their grades are.
Daily Life:
German shoppers know they are buying goods in
environmentally friendly packaging when they see the
¨Green dot ¨ The green dot means that the packaging
can either be recycled or is made from recycled
material. The green dot system is now used across
Europe.
