because of their strength. However soccer
is also a popular sport in Russia, even FIFA
established the Yashin Award for the best
goalkeeper in honor of the Russian player
Lev Yashin on 1994. Another usual sport
there is Chess, many chess champions are
Russian.
One of the most important, famous and
known foods are the Pancakes. It is very
delicious and well prepared in Russia. The
ornaments or toppings are optional and
that is called blini.
The ballet born in france but arrived to
Russia pretty soon and one of the most
famous and first dancers to go on a world
tour is ANNA PAVLOVA. Then we can say
that Russia was a very important place to
develop the ballet culture in the world.
