I just wanted to say thank you to Rob and Bruce. They worked so hard for us; about 11 hours per day with some
on-call time and a check-in today from each of them. Their mantra of “there are no problems” was so calming,
and their attitudes and personalities made a very difficult and enormous task fun. There, I said it: fun.
Please be sure to thank them for me!

April 2014
The install at Meritus Medical Center was completed on April 2, 2014. Robert Brandi was the
lead contractor for my install. I was very pleased with his professionalism and work ethic.
Lori B was the second tech to help.
The install had several issues that Robert was able to fix. There were 2 bases that were
meant for the floor that would not work. 2 of the Charge only Lab bases were used to
replace these bases. Switching out the bases is a none issue to me; however it did add
some time for the install and delay for the units to use their work station. The 1 day install
was a very long day. We started at 8 am and ended at 9 pm.
I realize that this is a time consuming project. However, your techs are expected to work till
the job is completed. The issues with the install was not Robert or Lori's. Robert worked
through every issue that occurred. I have continued to have issues with the bases. The RRC
is having a problem. This is not a Roche problem, but an Alere issue. The
things that occurred during the install such as the bases working then not working, this is
due to Alere and nothing to due with Roche. This makes the techs look bad. It is also very
frustrating for them.
I was told by Alere today that you know of this issue. If that is true, you need to inform
your customer of this issue. Roche is the field not Alere so it comes down on Roche.
I spoke with a John Yancey today. It seems the university of Maryland is having some major
issues with almost all of there bases not working.
Please feel free to contact me if you any questions.
Thank you

I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated the work Robert did for us during our recent Inform II
install(10/17). He went above and beyond all day long and it all ended with him staying here until 7pm helping
me resolve a software issue. He worked with Cobas support to help solve the problem with our meters not
uploading the configuration information. It turned out being a corrupt configuration. He did not have to stay but
he was not leaving until the meters were performing as expected. It should also be noted that he did all this
without even taking a break or mentioning taking a break. I am the same way if you have a job to do you get it
done a break later so I really appreciate his work ethic. Have the confidence that you are not alone dramatically
reduces the stress this type of day produces. Please let him know how much I appreciate his efforts!!
Thanks Jason

We recently installed the Inform II meter at our hospital. I am so pleased! The install went extremely smooth. I
believe this was due to the Roche team's meticulous planning, great support and terrific install team. The install
team included Jackie Kennedy, Robert Brandi and Ann P. Robert did an excellent job! His customer service skills
combined with his IT talent made him such a valuable team member. Ann, being fairly new, did a very good job
also. Jackie, my area rep was so helpful, organized and always on top of each step. This entire project was a
pleasure to work on from beginning to end and I have learned so much!
Again, my sincere thanks to all involved!
