Culture at Coursera
• Considering that it offers one of the most globally-
recognized courses on ‘Organisational Culture’,
Coursera.org follows an exemplary culture with a Lattice
Structure, where there is least Hierarchy and utmost
acceptance of nuances and dissent.
• There are collaborators who bring in tie-ups with
Universities, colleges, Etcetera, and then there are actual
educationists who work in their individual and isolated
capacities and payouts to provide the human interaction
necessary in courses.
• The Website is available in English, Hindi, Spanish, French,
Chinese, Arabic, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Ukrainian,
Hebrew, German and Italian, which makes it quite
evident that there are no linguistic barriers amidst the
educators and the clients.
• Since the founders are also former educationists from
Standford, Coursera.org focuses only on a simplistic zero-
sum-game of pay-to-learn. For eligible candidates, the
financial aid is very easy to procure. There are no
constraints whatsoever.
