A short behind the scenes look at our Barle Grove shoot for 'Rose'

2. Due to the heavy rain that was being
experienced at the time of filming, we
had to use a £50 gift card and tape to
keep raindrops from ruining our shots.
The first shoot for our production ‘Rose’ took place on
Barle Grove and, despite the poor weather
conditions, was a success with the entire scene being
filmed from many angles with a variety of shots used.
One particular thing to highlight was the attention
paid to framing the shots using the streets
surroundings, such as lampposts, cars and fences to
appropriately frame each shot. An example of this is
how a shot of Michael approaching Gregs door was
framed through the gaps in a wooden fence.
