Opened in the summer of 2015, the goal of the MMS is to provide access to materials and the laboratory space for educators to learn about Maker Edu best practices and how to integrate them in the classroom, with both digital and analog tools. We provide professional development and workshops, as well as access to space, materials, and resources to all of Alameda County educators. We are open to Local Education Agencies serving Alameda County students who are interested in using the space as a venue for their own trainings and sessions that align with the mission.
