As a teacher I am a vehicle for social justice. As a learner and STEM educator I'm passionate about cultivating critical thought and transforming it into meaningful action inside and out of the classroom. This passion guides student-centered curriculum design in collaboration with students, families and fellow teachers. This also drives my advocacy for equity in education. In that vein, my latest project, Radical STEM Educators, is a group in collaboration with Social Justice Math Educators of the East Bay that builds community among educators developing relevant STEM curriculum driven by equity for students of color.
