BREAK THE CHAIN CAMPAIGN

SOCIAL MARKETING CAMPAIGN
Social marketing is an effort to reinforce, assist or provide awareness
among the public using one or more social media platforms. Social
marketing seeks to influence social behaviour to benefit the general
society. It provides awareness about the health, safety, the environment
and communities.
MARKETING MIX
The Marketing Mix refers to the set of actions, or tactics that the
company or government uses to promote general awareness among the
public. It consists of 4P’s:-
1. Product
2. Price
3. Place
4. Promotion
Break The Chain Campaign
Kerala has launched a 'break the chain' campaign to fend off
the Covid-19 spread.
The Kerala health ministry launched a mass hand washing
campaign called Break the Chain.
Launching the campaign, Kerala Health Minister Shailaja
Teacher stressed the importance of keeping personal hygiene
to protect self and the community from Covid-19 infection.
They said, “They are able to minimize the spread of the
deadly virus with early surveillance and people's support.
Now people need to follow personal hygiene as a healthy
habit and wash hands and face whenever in public contact.
By doing it, the state will be able to break the chain of virus
infection.
The Kerala government has appealed all to promote 'break
the chain' campaign as a safety measure.
Some of the measures to prevent COVID-19
 Maintain social distancing.
 Washing hands frequently with soap and water.
 Use hand sanitizer.
 Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed
hands.
 Wear a facemask if you’re sick.
 Clean and disinfect frequently touched surface daily.
