EXPERIENCE
Bright Horizons Family Center at Oak Hill, Austin—
Primary Teacher
August 2014 - PRESENT
● My duties at Bright Horizons include supervising a classroom of
children 1-2 years old; I also keep a daily record of their
activities, such as toiletries, serving amounts, sleep cycles,
lessons taught, and scheduled activities.
● I create unique lesson plans each week to stimulate creativity
and personal growth. In addition to supervising the learning
experience of the children in my care, I also made sure my
workspace and their learning space was kept in such a way as to
be conducive to an organized and fulfilling learning experience.
● I have supervised up to 24 children at a time and worked to
foster relationships among my students as well as my peers.
Betterton Construction, Gilmer, Texas —

● During my time as Administrative Assistant at Betterton
Construction, I provided technical support for the head of the
company, answered phone calls and took messages, and helped
schedule appointments with clients.
● I also photographed and compiled a Portfolio for the head
builder of our company to showcase the different styles of
architecture and design that our company provided to our
clientele.

Harmony High School, Big Sandy, Texas — High School
Diploma
August 2011 - May 2015
● As a State Qualifier for Student Congress, it was required of me
to compile files on numerous topics in order to be able to give
an accurate and succinct speech on whatever topic on the
agenda. This has helped me to be able to express my views and
thoughts on various subjects in a clear and concise manner.
● I competed and placed in various Extemporaneous Speaking
events, during which I was required to compile a large
accumulation of differing news stories in order to give the most
informative or persuasive speech possible. Not only did this
help me gain experience in persuasive and enticing speechwork,
it also helped develop my ability to research and pinpoint the
proper information for any topic through multiple sources and
sites.
● I was a faithful member of National Honors Society throughout
High School, meaning that I successfully maintained a 3.8
Grade Point Average all four years of my High School career.
