This document discusses drones and was prepared by a group of engineering students at the Shroff S. R. Rotary Institute of Chemical Technology. It defines drones as unmanned aerial vehicles that can be operated autonomously or remotely, and describes some of their advantages like energy savings and reducing exposure risks. The document outlines different types of drones like fixed wing, rotary wing, tricopter and quadcopter. It also discusses some applications of drones like surveying, security, and aerial videography. Finally, it mentions that the group conducted empathization activities including AEIOU, empathy mapping and mind mapping to understand users, and provides two references.

4. INTRODUCTION
DRONE :-
• The term drones covers a very broad category of unmanned aerial
vehicls (UAVS) that can be used for anything from military or
commercial purposes, to personal entertainment.
• Drone stands for Dynamic Remotely Operated Navigation Equipment
• Its flight is either controlled autonomously by computers or under the
remote control of a pilot on the ground.
7. ADVANTAGES OF DRONE
• Energy saving
• Does not contain, or need, a qualified pilot on board
• Reduces the exposure risk of the aircraft operator
• To save time and money
•Lightweight and easy to transport
•Video recording capabilities
