3. The Allendale Association - Supporting
and Treating Troubled Youth
Since its founding in 1897, the Allendale Association
has been committed to providing treatment and
help to youth who suffer from behavioral and
emotional disabilities. The Association serves more
than 1,200 youth and families each year with its
high quality treatment and care. With the help of
volunteers, donations, and sales from its thrift
store, Hidden Treasures, the Allendale Association is
able to continue its advocacy for troubled youth.
The Association also has a full staff of psychologists,
psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses to help aid
struggling youth and their families.
4. The Allendale Association - Supporting
and Treating Troubled Youth
The Allendale Association provides help through a
variety of treatment programs to help each individual.
Through its residential treatment program, youth live at
the organization’s facility where they receive
personalized treatment, therapy, and testing. The
Association’s community support programs help provide
counseling services in a family, group, or individual
setting; while the independent living program allows
teens and young adults to receive supportive transitional
housing. Additionally, through its full educational
services, Allendale is able to provide students with a
quality education that is tailored to help them make
progress beyond their behavioral and emotional
struggles.
