HESS POWER startup idea finalist of the program "STUPRENEURE-Jaipur" organized by startup oasis and co-organized by Centre for Electronics Governance, Jaipur and TEDSTART on 11 October, 2017 as a part of TEDSTART program.
Therefore who have interest in the field of startups and entrepreneurship this ppt provides help that how make good ppt for startup and what is the procedure of pitching idea in front off Investors.
2. PAIN POINTS
Current Storage
techniques are not
able to utilize the
Maximum Potential of
Renewable Energy
The backup system
used are not able to
provide peak power
for short duration.
Conventional Batteries
used are not efficient and
takes huge amount of time
for charging.
The traditional
system used is not
very reliable
The batteries used
tends to discharge at
a very slow pace in
standby mode.
The Current storage
system are not able to
store energy for longer
period of time.
4. PRODUCT DETAILS
• HESS which uses battery and a super capacitor is a
technology which contributes to raise the efficiency at
every stage of the energy chain by:
• A super capacitor is one of the highest capacity capacitors
also called Electrical Double Layer Capacitors (EDLCs).
• The super Capacitor used has following advantages:-
. Fast charging and discharging speed
. Long cycle life
. High efficiency
. Storage unit is improved
. Lower cost of entire unit
Overall increasing the efficiency of System.
6. SERVICE BENEFITS
• Pollution free as huge backup system uses any fuel for their consumption.
• Super Capacitor employs the advantage of giving Peak Power as and when required.
• The battery will last much more than Conventional Battery.
• The Combination of battery and super capacitor provides less power loss of battery in
standby mode.
• Reduces the Battery Charging Time.
• Raising Power Quality with better voltage frequency regulation as well as minimum
interruption.
• It reduces the Output Variability of Renewable Resources which is the major drawback of these
Resources
• This system utilizes Maximum Potential of Solar Energy.
• Excess Electricity is stored in the Super Capacitor which may be used by the load whenever
Required.
7. COST
For 1 KW Energy operating for 10 Hours
Load Consumption-10KWh

14. MARKETING STRATEGY
• Net Metering Policy which gives consumer a provision to install
Rooftop PV at their premises. Most systems will involve inverters with
batteries.
• Renewable Energy Targets has set by GoI. Integration of renewable
energy will require energy storage technologies to achieve these
Renewable Energy Targets.
• Ministry of Power has approved National Smart Grid Mission (NSGM)
which has set aggressive targets for Micro grids which will require
energy storage technologies.
• The Govt. of India has launched Nation Electric Mobility Mission
(NEMM) in April 2015 with a target of 6-7 million Electric Vehicles by
2022
