The village of Dragus in Romania has been the most studied rural locality in the country, as the people there have kept the traditions passed down from their ancestors. Considered a traditional village and a walking place for Empress Maria Tereza, Dragus remains a well-preserved rural settlement located just a few kilometers from Brancoveanu Monastery. While the locals say their village's shape from above resembles a star, visiting its heart reveals mysteries like the forms of the old houses kept as inherited from elders, and an old fountain transformed into a tourist spot where the people's ancestors once drank water.
