"Maramureș, old country, with people matchless" it's an
vers from an old doina who speaks without modesty about
this land and people who lives there.
Land of Maramureș is richly inhabited by people of value,
over 900 years old masters in the art of wood carving, thus
transmitting on behalf of this land blessed Wood Land.
Located in the heart of Europe, Maramureș is a land of
wooden churches, legendary treasures, impressive
landscapes and ancient traditions. In Maramureș remained
intact culture, traditions and peasant life in the past.
Maramureș is not just the Wood Land, also has other
attractions such as Rodna Mountains, so if you're
passionate about climbing, this is the place.

With a height of 2,303 meters, reached the top Pietrosul,
Rodna Mountains are the highest and hardest reaches of
the Eastern Carpathians.

more spectacular, is called Blue Lake.
Unique in its main feature, the lake is particularly due to
the following aspect: in no other country in the world there
isn't a lake which changes color depending on the light
reflecting in it or people who swim here.
At a distance of about 3 km from Baia Sprie is Blue Lake,
formed naturally by the collapse of a mine galleries,
gallery, where later rainwater has collected.
When you say Mocanita from Viseu de Sus say last

especially technically. Today, Vaser is part of Maramures
Mountains Natural Park.
Even if today Mocanita from Viseu transport tourists, the
purpose for which it was built and successfully meets you
