Near Bucharest in Snagov, there is a museum called Grădina Vlahiia that transports visitors to rural Romanian life. It features old houses from Maramureș that have been rebuilt on the property, allowing guests to stay in authentic structures. The farm grows traditional crops and raises animals, with the restaurant serving dishes made from the farm's products. The goal is to preserve Romanian cultural identity and folk traditions in a modern context through daily activities like animal care and cooking.

The houses of Maramures, a place of rest and revitalization, are old,
authentic houses, displaced in the Grădina Vlahiia with their entire
universe, customized according to custom and tradition, with icons,
wipes, cords and tools. The houses are baptized by the beautiful
villages of Maramures where they were brought, and the rooms are
named after the local women.
5. Farm
The farm of Grădina Vlahiia is, like the
authentic Romanian village, a world of
respect for tradition. The genus of creative
passion, orchards, vineyards, greenhouses
and lucerne are carefully cultivated and
processed here. Traditional dishes and
authentic tastes are prepared in the
Grădina vlahiia. On the shelves in the
pantry you will find fresh vegetables,
sauces, pickles and jams, all of which can
be tasted by guests.
6. Restaurant
The Grădina Vlahiia Restaurant is
based on a traditional menu in the true
sense of the word. The delicious taste
of genuine peasant dishes is
complemented here by the refined
simplicity of Tuscan cuisine, and the
freshness of the products can be
appreciated as the grandparents' time
since their harvesting in the garden.

8. Tradition on tomorrow
The world in which the Romanian peasant
is part is burdened by customs and
traditions, the heritage of our ancestors
transmitted from generation to generation.

cherished, the Grădina Vlahiia is a bond of
folk traditions in a modern and evolving
world.
