2. Who is my audience and why?...
My target audience for my media product is young females aged 16+. This is Chloe, Chloe is an example of the audience I am aiming for. Chloe
is a student at college she studies her A-levels she studies English Language, Fashion and Music. She is hoping to break into the fashion
industry in the future as a model. Chloe’s goals in life and what she is currently studying at college fits in well with my media product as it is
based on music and fashion. By Chloe studying these subjects she has a strong knowledge in music and fashion history this will make Chloe
more interested in purchasing my product as it was based in the era 1980’s.
In Chloe’s spear time outside of college she mostly spends it with her friends. Either shopping, eating in restaurants or working on her fashion
ideas. Chloe has an monthly allowance of £50 a month this will stretch to allowing her to purchase my product as it is at the price of £2 and it is
released monthly. This is only taking £12 out of her yearly allowance of £600. The products Chloe purchases with her allowance is stuff which
every teen girl buys. She purchases things such like make up, clothes and pays for her Netflix account monthly. She shops in high street fashion
shops such like Topshop, Newlook, Primark and H&M. She also has a strong passion for the make up line Mac. She likes Mac’s make up line
through the wide choice of lipsticks and lipstick is her favourite choice of make up.
Chloe a huge interest in different eras not just the lastest fashion and music. She has a love for the 1980’s/1990’s years this is because there
fashion and music made a statement and has helped her for inspiration for her fashion portfolio. Chloe also has a love for the 80’s movies such
like ‘Pretty in Pink’, ‘St .Elmo Fire’ and ‘The Breakfast Club’.
All of these things which interested Chloe will be spoke or promoted in a way in my magazine as she is interested by fashion and music. My
media product is based in around the genre 1980’s. It has a pop them throughout it layout, and my models costume is based on the latest
fashion now with a hint of 80’s inspiration. As I have analysed the way Madonna used to dress (Madonna used to be an 80’s icon). They would
most likely buy my product through as it based on fashion and music. These subjects interested most young females such like Chloe and have
similar interests to Chloe.
