During the Cold War, Americans planned espionage operations
meticulously - their agents had Russian clothes, spoke the language like
natives and were equipped with the latest in spy gadgets. But time after
time they were unmasked by the KGB. This was accomplished by closely
examining the forged passports. The forged passports, held by the spies,
were made to match the genuine ones in every aspect(like print
,font, size, paper quality, watermark) but one. Next slide features the
forged Russian passport ( left) and genuine one(right). The Russian
authorities identified the fake passports based on a simple detail which
the Americans missed to replicate. Find the fault in forging.
Fake Real
Russians used to use cheap quality steel for their
staples. Therefore it used to rust often and they had
to tape their passports. However the American
forgeries used stainless steel which did not rust.

Jennifer’s husband had warned her before they got married that
taking his surname could lead to occasional frustrations in everyday
life. And sure enough, right after the wedding, problems began.
When Jennifer tries to buy tickets online, after changing her name,
she gets the error message on most of the websites. The error was “
surname field can not be blank”.
Id the surname which lead to such error.

centred around the infamous Russian mystical figure Grigori Rasputin,
began the custom of displaying this particular text before every film or
show.
The trouble began when their portrayal of exiled Rasputin’s murder,
Prince Yusupov and more specifically, his wife’s, wasn’t , liked by the
Yusupovs and this prompted Irina Yusupov to sue MGM and managed
to win about $25,000.
What become a staple introduction to greet viewers, that prevents any

Famous examples of prehistoric art depict scenes of animals and humans in
various hues, drawn accurately to represent the real life creature (Image in
next slide). However, in northern Spain’s Atxurra Cave, archaeologists
discovered a treasure trove of prehistoric art, named as the Ledge of Horses.
Some of these paintings differed from the norm as parts of figures seem to
overlap (Image in next slide). Moreover, archaeologists were puzzled as to why
they were drawn miles deep into the dark cave, away from the sunlight. But
when they recreated the situation to the way the early man would have been in,
by using ____, they understood as to why the figures were drawn the particular
way, with some calling the paintings, the precursor to ___.
Put funda as to what the archaeologists observed.
ANSWER
When a flickering torch is held up to prehistoric cave paintings they
appear to "move." This has led some researchers to theorize that they
were intentionally designed to create this effect, which would make them
a precursor to modern cinema.

The term "X marketing" is inspired by a synonymous strategy from another field. It
employs atypical tactics to achieve an objective and traces its origins to a book by
Leo Burnett's creative director Jay Conrad Levinson of the same name.
Opposed to such as print, radio, television, and direct mail which lose popularity,
marketers and advertisers here have to find new strategies to get their commercial
messages to the consumer. X marketing focuses on taking the consumer by surprise
to make a big impression about the product or brand. This in turn creates buzz about
the product being marketed. It is a way of advertising that increases consumers'
engagement with the product or service, and is designed to create a memorable
experience. This finds greater outreach by word of mouth and hence focuses on
impact rather than frequency. It also reduces cost for the campaign, making it easier
for smaller establishments to take over larger enterprises.

In 1978, unemployment was high by post-war UK standards and the
Conservatives in the opposition, hoping for a sudden election approached
Saatchi & Saatchi to come out with an iconic poster. The poster's design was a
picture of a snaking dole queue outside an unemployment office. Above it was
the slogan "X isn't working" with the phrase "Britain's better off with the

situation.
The picture in the poster originally planned for 100 extras to be used for the

In 2000, Brazilian inventor Heine Allemagne developed "Spuni" (pronounced

Brazilian Championship, Copa João Havelange.
An international patent application for "Spuni" was filed by its inventor on March
31, 2000 and the patent granted on October 29, 2002. The most common version
used today is “9-15”.
Technical details: contains water (~80%), butane gas (~17%), surfactant (~1%), and
other ingredients including vegetable oil (~2%). The liquefied butane expands when
the product is ejected. The butane evaporates instantly, forming bubbles of gas in
the water/surfactant mixture.

  • 29. Q8 The term "X marketing" is inspired by a synonymous strategy from another field. It employs atypical tactics to achieve an objective and traces its origins to a book by Leo Burnett's creative director Jay Conrad Levinson of the same name. Opposed to such as print, radio, television, and direct mail which lose popularity, marketers and advertisers here have to find new strategies to get their commercial messages to the consumer. X marketing focuses on taking the consumer by surprise to make a big impression about the product or brand. This in turn creates buzz about the product being marketed. It is a way of advertising that increases consumers' engagement with the product or service, and is designed to create a memorable experience. This finds greater outreach by word of mouth and hence focuses on impact rather than frequency. It also reduces cost for the campaign, making it easier for smaller establishments to take over larger enterprises. ID X.
