o Application of microbial enzymes to mitigate risks in amino acid fermentation process,
like foam controlling, fermentation media viscosity reduction and titer improvement.
o Application of enzymes in contaminant mitigation in processes-fermentation, shake flask
evaluations. A project to find alternatives to usage of antibiotics in fermentation (notice of
investigation (NOI) filing is under process).
2. Heterologous Flavonoid production:
o Constructed heterologous pathway in yeast to produce flavonoids and evaluated by scale
down fermentation process.
o Developed protocols in flavonoids production optimization.
