15. DepEd Order No. 001 Series of 2023 as stated by
Vice President Sara Duterte:
"DepEd Order No. 001, s. 2023 is a landmark order that
will streamline the operations of the Department of
Education (DepEd) and improve its efficiency. This order
revises the designation of Undersecretaries and Assistant
Secretaries of DepEd to their respective strands and
functional areas of responsibilities. It also expands the
signing authorities of the Undersecretaries and Assistant
Secretaries.
This order is a major step forward in our efforts to improve
the quality of education in the Philippines. By streamlining
our operations and improving our efficiency, we will be
able to better focus on our core mission of providing
quality education to all Filipino children.
I am confident that this order will help us achieve our
goals for education. I urge all DepEd employees to support
this order and to work together to make it a success."
