Some Facts:
 The Association West Pomeranian Chemical Cluster “Green
Chemistry” is a non-profit organisation established in 2007
 Cluster has 82 members who employ altogether approx.
13 500 people
 Its main goal is to connect business and academia towards
commercialisation of innovative areas
 Representing our region, cluster is one of the European
partners in R4R – Chemical Regions for Resource Efficiency
project
Why Circular Economy?
 European Commission as well as many European regions
has already chosen the strategy based on circular
economy
