On 16 January, 2015, the chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification, Leela Samson, sent her
resignation to the State Information and Broadcasting Minister, Rajyavardhan Rathore. According to
multiple reports, Samson had quit because of "interference, coercion and corruption" of the
government-appointed members and officers of the CBFC. Her frustration was triggered by the first
film that rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh produced and acted in — MSG: Messenger of God.
Samson, a relatively progressive chairperson, had denied certification to MSG on the grounds that it
promoted blind faith and superstition — a valid point, since the film showed Singh performing miracles
and curing people of diseases.
But MSG appealed to FCAT, which usually take a couple of weeks to validate to clear it & to Samson’s
surprise, they cleared it in 3 days and secured a positive reaction, which led to the film being screened
with a few minor cuts, leading to Samson’s resignation.
Samson's abrupt exit and her calling out the government for being hand-in-glove with the CBFC
members were only the sign of the times to come. Three days after she resigned, on 19 January, the
I&B Ministry hired her replacement, a man named X.
Although X is now longer at that position, he’s ironically back in the limelight for being the distributor
to a sequel of a movie, Y which shares its name with a 1975 film, which saw the debut of Sridevi as a
young actor.

 The title of the biography of which veteran Indian actor, called ‘Anything But
_______’ is a play on his famous catchphrase, referring to the fact that his career
both in and out of cinema has created sufficient noise. His success coming to him
despite not belonging to a famous surname or family.

 The Blu-Ray disc of Season 2 of ____ ____ _____ was bundled with the owners manual
(images ahead) for a device featured in the second season of the show. Two versions of the
owners manual were provided, one in English and the other in an alien language. The
manual has eight pages including information such as parts of the device, usages, and
various precautions.
 While the net worth of the object is unknown, during the episode Interdimensional Cable
2, a stolen one was valued as 6 1/2 brapples.

 On the next slide there is a video by JayFunk, an internet “finger-tutting”
phenomenon who first rose to fame with his advertisement with Samsung in 2011.
Widely acknowledged as one of the best “finger-tutters” in the world, he made
news recently when he was hired as a choreographer in a certain 2016 project the
director of which was looking to pay meticulous attention to detail. He designed
every motion elaborately to match the needs of the story, and took inspiration from
his favourite Japanese animes. He also had to made sure that it looked ancient and
universal, but different from any real art-forms.

_____________ _____________ is a species of fungus in
the Boletaceae family. Found in Malaysia, it was described as new to science
in 2011. It produces a spongy, rubbery orange fruit bodies that have a fruity or
musky odour. The fruit bodies reach dimensions of 10 cm (3.9 in) wide by
7 cm (2.8 in) tall. Like a sponge, they will resume their original shape if water
is squeezed out. The spores, produced on the surfaces of the hollows of the
sponge, are almond-shaped with rough surfaces, and measure 10–12.5 by
6–7 micrometer.
The sponge is named after a character in pop culture known for its oddly

product for early missions. The drawbacks of the product were quickly found, and a method
to overcome those flaws, or find another product for the same job became a mission of its
own.
NASA spent $4,382.50 for 34 of the above product to Tycam Engineering Manufacturing Inc.,
which were specially modified for use in space.
Paul C. Fisher, invested close to $1,000,000 on developing an alternative for the same
purpose. In 1965, Fisher patented a product that could work upside-down, in temperatures of
-35 to 120°C, at altitudes up to 12,500 feet, pressures of 35psi and essentially, could also
work in space. Fisher sold this product to NASA for $2.89 per piece.

A parody of a classic DOS game was released recently by game developer Ramsey Nasser
called Dialogue __. It is still the same game virtually but with a sight twist - a dialogue box
pops just before you pull the trigger asking questions like - ‘Is it okay to deny Fascists a
platform?’ or ‘Is it okay to shoot _____?’ or ‘Wouldnt peaceful protest be more effective ?’
Nasser got the idea of making the game after the Inauguration Day attack on Richard
Spencer, an ‘alt-right’ leader who dreams of ‘a new society, an ethno-state that would be a
gathering point for all Europeans and one who wants to ban interracial relationships and also
supports “peaceful ethnic cleansing”.
Spencer was punched on the head while being interviewed and it had people asking if its
okay to ‘punch a ____’.

owners of the James Bond franchise turned down his offer. X then went to meet Y, a writer and director

throwback to the Saturday matinee space serials of the 1930s and 1940s.

On April 2, 2011, the GIF animation of X was posted by 25-year-old Christopher
Torres of Dallas, Texas, who uses the name "prguitarman", on his website LOL-Comics.
Torres explained in an interview where the idea for the animation came from: "I was
doing a donation drive for the Red Cross and in- between drawings in my Livestream
video chat, two different people mentioned I should draw a 'Pop Tart' and a 'cat'."
In response, he created a hybrid image of a Pop-Tart and a cat, which was developed
a few days later into the animated GIF.
The design of X was influenced by Torres' pet cat Marty, who died in November 2012
from feline infectious peritonitis.

from their Instagram page.
However, due to the similarity between this mascot and X, Nestle received lots of

They also released an official statement which stated - “We produced this photo - of a
real guy in a ____ suit - to launch Instagram through our Facebook community. The

The Supreme Court ordered closure of liquor shops and bars within 500 metres of
national/state highways while hearing a PIL (public interest litigation) filed by NGO
Arrive Safe. The NGO had said that a majority of the 1.42 lakh deaths due to road
accidents in the country annually, was due to drinking and driving.
Rather than give up and shut shop, the bar owner decided to take another route and
build a 250- 300 metre path that leads to his restobar.

has a nasty headache one day. He visits a hospital thinking something is wrong with
him. Doctors ask him to perform several tests and bill him a hefty amount.
Next day, he wakes up and realizes it was just a hangover. Doctors took advantage of
his ignorance and conned him. He ponders that as an underworld don even he robs
people but the medical profession has lot of status and respect. ‘Even I want respect!’
he declares. For some reasons, this part of the script was deleted, but the makers
retained this for the teaser of the sequel, where the protagonist is seen dreaming of
earning respect.

per-view event WrestleMania: it hosted the fourth and fifth editions of the mega-
show at the same venue two years running. This was the X Plaza in Atlantic City, New

video of the draw has gone ‘viral’ online and several news outlets have recalled the
time X became an unexpected and unusual participant in a League Cup draw.
