• Every role is important!
• Take pride in your position-know
what your responsibilities are
• No one office is higher than
another- you are all equal
KNOW YOUR ROLE!
If you work together as
one unit, any goal is
achievable!!
ALL FOR ONE,
ONE FOR ALL!
• It’s very important that each team
member is respected for who they are
and what they bring to the team
• Different is good- embrace it!!!
• Remember the golden rule- treat
others the way that you want to be
treated!
R-E-S-P-E-C-T…
• Trust and believe in each other!
• Be reliable yourself!
• Hold yourself and each other
accountable!
SUPPORT EACH OTHER!!
COMMUNICATION
Face to face conversations
are a key element to good
communication!
PERSONAL CONTACT
IS IMPORTANT!!
• Be courteous and respectful to
each other!
• Stay positive, even when
speaking about negative
subjects
• Tell the truth!
THE GOLDEN
RULE…(AGAIN)
• Be willing to compromise!
• Agree to disagree-everyone’s opinion
matters!
• No matter how far apart two sides are,
there is always middle ground!
GET A LITTLE,
GIVE A LITTLE…
A good conversation is interesting
and new.Try to have something
different to talk about, not that
same old story you’ve told a
thousand times!

• Don’t just wait for your turn to speak…
Stay engaged in the conversation
• Pay attention!!!
• Try to ask a question or two. It helps
turn the conversation in the direction
you want it to go!
REALLY LISTEN!!
CONFLICT RESOLUTION
• Emotions can run high in a disagreement… stay
neutral!
• Anger doesn’t help prove a point…cooler heads
prevail!
THE SWISS ARE ON
TO SOMETHING…
The first step to fixing a problem is
to admit that there is a problem.
Work with your team to find a
solution that is beneficial to
everyone involved!
THE ELEPHANT IN
THE ROOM
• Focus on the issue at hand, not
the person you may be
disagreeing with.
• Remain respectful of the person
and their opinion… insults don’t
help!!
EYES ONTHE
PRIZE…
• Keep an open mind.The other
person thinks they’re right, too.
• An agreement can be reached if
both sides are willing to work
together!
COMPROMISE!!
• If an agreement can’t be reached at that
moment, let it go for now. Come back to it when
the situation calms down.
• Don’t fan the flames. Keep your cool!
PATIENCE IS A
VIRTUE!!!
