3. Health efforts are one of the subsystems in the National Health System (SKN) that
are implemented in a sustainable, systematic, directed, integrated,
comprehensive with other subsystems to ensure the achievement of the highest
level of public health. Health efforts are carried out through various health services
organized by health care facilities, one of which is Puskesmas.
Public Health Efforts as mentioned in Article 1 of Decree 75 of 2014 on Health
Centers have the understanding "Public Health Efforts which are further
abbreviated as SMEs are every activity to maintain and improve health and
prevent and overcome the onset of health problems with the targets of families,
groups, and communities."
DEFINITION
4. Primary Health Efforts – consist of primary individual health services
and primary communities.
Secondary Health Efforts – are advanced referral health efforts
consisting of secondary individual health services (PKPS) and
secondary public health services (PKMS).
Tertiary Health Efforts – consist of Tertiary Individual Health Services
(PKPT) and tertiary public health services.
