Its no longer a problem to disinfect water in
remote areas where electrical power is
unavailable. Our system uses Sunlight and
salt to produce Sodium Hypochlorite using an
environmentally friendly and technologically
advance process.Sodium Hypochlorite is a
strong disinfectant that kills all the pathogens
which lead to water borne diseases like
cholera, typhoid, paratyphoid etc. Our system
also leaves some residual Sodium
Hypochlorite in water to prevent bacteria
from getting picked up during storage or
redistribution.
The photovoltaic panel converts sunlight into
electrical energy. This energy is then
channeled through the solar charge controller
and stored in the battery bank. When the
electrochlorinator is switched on the battery
bank feeds the energy to the electrolyser
directly.

¢Put good clean salt (as indicated on the tank)
in the space provided on the top cover of the
Reaction tank
¢Pour water into the tank this will dissolve the
salt as it fills the tank.
¢Switch on the power supply.
¢Power from the storage battery will start the
reaction.
¢Set the timer at 8 hours.
¢The system will start and the chlorine
production will begin.
¢After the preset time the power supply will
stop.
¢Now the Sodium Hypochlorite is ready.
¢Open the bottom Valve and remove all the
sodium hypochlorite into a storage tank.
¢The hypo can be dosed from the storage tank
to the water to be disinfected.
¢After production stops, the Solar panel
continues to charge the batteries for next use.
