1. WHAT TEACHING CHALLENGES WILL Mrs. Rose
encounter with her diverse students?
The challenges Mrs. Rose will encounter is the students behavior because it is
expected that their behavior is different according to their culture. Another challenges
is the community she was in, she grew up in Visayas she have no idea what Sulu’s
traditions and way of living. And also the communication, I think the dialect was
different in Sulu. It’s a bit complicated dealing with different dialect but it is part of our
lives dealing with challenges to learn on and for more experiences too.
How would she address these challenges as a
multicultural teacher?
With those challenges as a multicultural teaches, Mrs. Rose should learn their
language in order for them to communicate clearly and politely. And search more
information from the community she wants to work with. To know what are the
differences the culture she was grew up and the culture she wants to address now. She
needs to encourage her students to discuss different topics to have a comfortable
atmosphere inside the classroom.
What personal dilemmas will she encounter? If you
were in her place, what will you do?
If I were in her place, I will do the same thing. I mean she changed her life as a
married person she should expect a new way of living with a new lifestyle with her
partner. For more experiences and to learn on and also learning new language is fun.
