Dear Colleagues,
I want to announce that I have identified a Shell Global SAP Account Manager resource to be
appointed as the Downstream ERP Manager for the APAC/Global region. His name is Anand Pream.
He is an experienced IT professional, with an extensive background in supporting ERP systems and
other landscapes. He holds several certifications (ITIL Awareness; Quality Awareness; FY11 Global
Ethics And Compliance Training; Data Privacy Standards; Six Sigma Awareness Training; among
others). He will be a valuable resource for the Shell Global Account, familiar with ITIL tools,
processes, and standards.
Anand will be onboarded on January 16th and will be based in Malaysia. He will work with Azra on the
corresponding transition and learning sessions and will receive the assistance from other Delivery
Manager’s colleagues during the learning curve of the various SAP landscapes under his
responsibilities. He will start fulfilling the ERP Delivery Management role on February 1st, 2012. In
the interim, I can be contacted if Shell Global Account Manager assistance is required.
Here are a few highlights of his professional experience:
 Experience in supporting global SAP environments
 Experience in a multi disciplined IT environment with strong background in service
delivery, operational support, and proactive management
 Experience in mentoring, supervision and optimization of SAP support teams. Lead and
communicate with ERP support staff of different background and cultures
 Experience in the design of new systems & database upgrades to fulfill businesses &
operational requirements

2.  Experience in troubleshooting & monitoring of ERP systems, including database related
problems
 Provided expert impact/risk assessment in relation to change request in complex
integrated application environments
 Provided advice on ERP go-live preparation & post go-live support
 Provided overall support on ERP systems architecture and hardware configuration
 Developed strategies and support plans to consistently meet service levels in highly
dynamic and fast changing application environments
 Interaction with business representatives to analyze service performance against expected
targets; created and managed service improvement plans when performance KPIs are not
met
 Experience in creating and maintaining processes and system support documentation
 Knowledge in handling authentication services, supporting connectivity for remote
locations
 Application of systems administration principles, systems analysis and troubleshooting
