3. INTRODUCTION
 Emo is a cool desktop AI robot pet with characters
that can self-explore the world and react to you with 1000+
faces and movements.
 A robot is a type of automated machine
that can execute specific tasks with little or no human
intervention and with speed and precision.
 Emo cheers you up with music, dance movements, and
online games!

4.  Emo Spark is an artificial intelligence console
created in London, United Kingdom by Patrick
Levy-Rosenthal.
 The device uses facial recognition and
language analysis to evaluate human emotion
and convey responsive content according to the
emotion.
 The console measures 90 mm x 90 mm x 90
mm and is cube shaped.

The use of robots can create economic problems if they
replace human jobs
Robots can only do what they are told to do – they can’t
improvise
This means that safety procedures are needed to
protect humans and other robots
Often robots are very costly – in terms of the initial
cost, maintenance, the need for extra components and
the need to be programmed to do the task.

 Getting autonomous robots to do the things we
want them to do is still a challenge.
 Designing controllers that are easily configured in
an adequate way is far more complicated.
 The idea to make a controller learn an adequate
set of parameters and functions for a given task is
not completely new, but still not solved
sufficiently.
