Tata Steel started the 1st raw material consignment of ferrous scrap
on the 24th of July for trials at its steel recycling plant being set-up in
Rohtak in Haryana.
This will provide the raw material to the steel industry by making
available Processed Ferrous Scrap.
This will also lower the dependency on imports.
