Why We Started
We couldn’t send all employees to conferences
to learn leadership and/technical content to
support career development

Identifying an Opportunity
Our Objective:
Really listen and hear what women were looking for – how can we shape our events
and talks to make an impact. By being heard, providing training and tools – create a
movement to empower and drive women to not only to feel confident exploring IT but to
seek out leadership roles.
Challenges:
• The statistics for women in IT are decreasing
• The statistics for gender diversity in IT do not empower women to see
themselves in leadership positions
• Gender diversity at OneMagnify is higher than the nation average
We really identified a need for women to be heard – specially in a male dominated field
like IT.

OneMagnify IT has approximately 40% of the positions
being held by women which is significantly higher than the
national average.
The purpose of the IT Circle is to empower and enable women
