• General management
• Estimation of capital requirements: Estimation with regards to
capital requirements of the company whilst considering the
expected costs and profits and future programmes and policies of a
concern.
• Determination of capital composition: I decided the capital
structure of Freeway Auto Services Ltd by considering the short-
term and long- term debt equity analysis bearing in mind the
proportion of equity capital the company is possessing and
additional funds which have to be raised from outside parties.
• Choice of sources of funds: I lead the company in securing
additional funds in the form of loans from banks and financial
institutions.
• Investment of funds: I prudently procured all the company’s raw
materials directly from manufactures and producers putting the
funds into profitable ventures.
• Disposal of surplus: Freeway Auto Services believes in retaining
profits, this I did considering expansion, innovation and
diversification plans of the company.
• Management of cash: I make decisions with regards to cash
management such as: payment of wages and salaries, payment of
electricity and water bills, payment to creditors, meeting current
liabilities, maintenance of enough stock, purchase of raw materials,
etc.
