• sourced from a patchwork of soils &
climates in Barossa & Eden Valley
regions
• A mix of small- & medium-size static
fermenters, & fermentation cycle:
between 8-12 days
Patchwork Shiraz 2010 (2)
• Natural / ‘wild’ yeasts in grape skins
initiate fermentation, winery yeasts are
added to complete the process
• Majority are run to barrel, selected
barrels remained ‘on skins’ post
fermentation for 1-2 weeks.

French & American hogheads &
octaves barrels

Tasting Notes
• Colour: deep purple with purple
meniscus , complex structure
• Smell: quite alcoholic, development
medium to strong aromas with fruity
flavour like blueberry, blackcurrant,
cherry mixing together. Traces of
chocolate, sweety oaky smell
Patchwork Shiraz 2010 (5)
• Palate: full bodied dry with berry-riched
flavour. Mainly riched in blueberry,
blackcurrant, cherry, plum in balanced
manner; long finish with sweet after
taste (matured in barrels). Little traces
of crispy feeling be identified, yet it is
easily drinkable – free from bitterness

• Comments: Good Quality in this price
range, drink now but she can be cellar
up to 7 years, 17/20.
• Price: $22 @ liquorland
