Branding Hierarchy
Above picture shows the mapping entity between F&O and CE for Branding Setup.
Open Annata Sales App URL. Focus bottom left corner of the Default Page. Click on the change area icon(As shown in Picture1).
Select Device Management. (As shown in Picture2)
Navigates to ‘Branding’ in the sitemap. This is the Branding setup zone.
Device Brand, Device Class, Device Model, Device Model Code are beneath to ‘Branding’.
Navigates to ‘Setup’ in the sitemap. This is the Setup zone.
Device Type, Device Style, Device Generation, Device Variant, Device State are beneath to ‘Setup’.
Device Type – for e.g. vehicle, truck, harvester, boat engine, and so on.
Creating a Device Type record – Go to Change area: Device Management -> Setup -> Device Types and click 'New’.
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
Device Style is a type of a vehicle or device for e.g. sedan or a station wagon car, wheeled or crawler excavator
Creating a Device Style record – Go to Change area: Device Management -> Setup -> Device Types and click 'New’.
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
'Device State’ is the state of a vehicle or device, For e.g. new, used or scrapped.
Creating a Device State record – Go to Change area: Device Management -> Setup -> Device States and click 'New’.
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
‘Device Brand’ is a brand name of a vehicle or device manufacturer, the main vendor for a group of devices or manufacturer or main vendor for supplier items.
Creating a Device Brand record – Go to Change area : Device Management -> Branding -> Device Brand and click 'New’.
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
A 'Device Class' identifies the family of devices for the specific brand provided by the manufacturer. Therefore, you can use a 'Device Class' only after setting it up within a brand. Since 'Device Classes' are brand–specific, you cannot use the same class for different brands.
Go to Change area: Device Management -> Branding -> Device Brand-> select existing ‘Device Brand’ record from the list.
Navigate to Device Class sub-grid-> Click on ‘New Device Class’
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
A 'Device Generation' is a specific period in the evolution of a 'Device Class' over time.
Go to Change area: Device Management -> Setup-> Device Class-> select existing ‘Device Class’ record from the list.
Navigate to Device Generation sub-grid-> Click on ‘New Device Generation’
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
A 'Device Model' is a sub-type of a 'Device Class', which may be identified by a specific engine option, body style, and other common characteristics.
Go to Change area: Device Management -> Branding -> Device Class-> select existing ‘Device Class’ record from the list.
Navigate to Device Model sub-grid-> Click on ‘New Device Model’.
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
A ’Device Model Code' is a specific configuration of a device, such as a vehicle of specific generation, body style, engine option, and transmission.
Go to Change area: Device Management -> Branding -> Device Models-> select existing ‘Device Model’ record from the list.
Navigate to Device Model Code sub-grid-> Click on ‘New Device Model Code’
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
A 'Device Variant' is a standard variant of a 'Device Model Code', with special characteristics such as a specific OEM-fitted accessory package or being a limited edition.
Go to Change area: Device Management -> Setup-> Device Models Codes-> select existing ‘Device Model Code’ record from the list.
Navigate to Device Variant sub-grid-> Click on ‘New Device Variant’
Enter the details- click ‘Save’ to save changes.
